had to shower .. i'd perspired from skating
entering the bedroom .. towel draped around me
for a brief moment I thought I was having a vision
lying there half covered under black silk sheets
was a golden brown skinned angel smiling at me
quickly I dried off .. got in close beside her
she said hurry .. pressing her lips upon mine
fresh, firm and soft all at the same time
I melted with her until it was early dawn
we burned the midnight oil all night long
victor .. victor, wake up .. I heard her say
cracked my eyes .. looked around the room
no one there .. only she and I alone
I related to her .. victor isn't my name
sitting on the edge of the bed .. she cried
I asked her what's wrong .. she choked
explained victor is her husband's name
automatically I thought .. oh hell no
I didn't want to be the one to blame
finally she convinced me she was getting a divorce
I was taken back a bit .. she was kind of young
never thought she'd be married .. not a chance
within a week she'd hurriedly moved in with me
another week went by .. things had become quiet
it's like I was waiting for the other shoe to drop
before the week was over .. she broke down crying
related she has two children .. gordo and del fina
seven and five years old .. could they move in too
she asked .. night after night we'd gotten stoned
my heart ached for her kids without a home .. I replied yes
two months went by .. all was going pretty smooth
nervous, Rosemary asked if i'd leave for two weeks
completely dumbfounded .. somewhere i'd lost my balance
she said her husband was arriving .. could they have the house
I loaded her and her kids to take to her dad and mom's home
wordlessly I dropped them off .. it was the end of that sinning
