Grand Priest: Let the tournament of power commence!
As soon as the Grand priest said those words all of the Universe's fighters began to rally and begin a brawl which seemed more like a war. And Universe 7 team backed up to a wall and gathered up back to back.
Gohan: Okay everyone! Stick together as a team!
Z fighters: Yeah!!
Vegeta: Hmph! As if I'm playing by those rules, I'll take out as many warriors as I can! Waiting by won't get us anywhere.
Gohan: Vegeta, wait!
Android 17: Well he's got a point, waiting around won't do anything but just waste time. See ya!
Gohan: 17 C'mon!
Caulifla: Well we did come here for a purpose!
Kale: And we can't fulfill it just by standing around like lost children! Let's go sis!
Caulifla: Right behind ya!
Gohan: Caulifla! Kale!

Krillin: Just go ahead Broly, almost half the team's already gone anyway.

While the 7th universe split up, Vegeta was busy with bergamo and his brothers from the 9th universe.
Bergamo: Hngh! Ha!
Vegeta: Tch! Not bad, you've gotten better since we've last fought!
Lavender: Don't forget it's a 3 on 1!
Vegeta: (I almost forgot about his blinding poison attack! Gotta be careful!) Hngh!
Vegeta used his energy to create a barrier around his body to avoid contamination with the poison.
Lavender: Cheater! Doesn't matter, you can't defend yourself from the dangerous trio!
Basil: Take THIS!!
Basil yelled as he kicked an energy blast towards Vegeta.
Vegeta: Daugh!!
Bergamo: Hehe! What'd we tell you?!
Lavender: You're up against the dangerous trio!
Basil: And we'll be taking the win this time!
Trio: Now off the stage!!
Just as Lavender and Basil rushed Vegeta, Caulifla and Kale jumped and kicked them back.
Basil: Gah!
Lavender: Doof!!
Kale: You said this was a 3 on 1?
Caulifla: How about we even the odds?
They transformed into their Super Saiyan state.
Bergamo: Don't you two know how to mind your business?!
Caulifla: It's even plain field buddy, we're taking the win!
Kale: Exactly!
Basil: 3 on 3 doesn't matter, you're nowhere near our level!
Caulifla: We'll just see about that!
Lavender: C'mon then tomboy!
