I woke up when my phone rang again, I groaned and searched for it with my eyes closed

"Hello?" A groan escaped my mouth

"Girl, I thought you'll come today morning and it's already 10 am," Jenna's voice said into the phone as I frowned

"I slept for that long?" I said more to myself and opened my eyes to look around. There are boxes everywhere. I was too lazy to clean it yesterday

"Well, obliviously," Jen said in a duh tone while I chuckled

"I'll be there in 15 okay?" I stood up to look for something to wear

"I'm waiting, see you in a bit," she said excitedly and hung up

I choose a white tank top and black skinny jeans with my converse.

The smell of waffles filled my nose as soon as I opened my room door. I skipped down the stairs and greeted my parents. My mom was sitting by the counter while dad made waffles

"I'm going to go to the café I was in yesterday, I'll be back in like an hour. I call if I'll be there longer" I smiled at them and didn't even wait for a response as I opened and then immediately closed the door

I happily walked towards the café the same way I walked yesterday. On the way there, I saw a familiar car in one of the driveways

Do I know the person who owns it? I have probably just seen it somewhere or even yesterday when I was walking around it.

I shook my head and walked into the café. A little bell rang above me as I smiled and looked in front of me to see Jen already smiling at me

There were already a few people here and there eating or sipping their coffee while reading a newspaper

"Hey!" Jenna shouted which caught everyone's attention.

I awkwardly apologized to people who gave me and Jen a weird look before I greet her back

"Hi"

"Harry told me you met him. Such a coincidence isn't it" Jen chuckled as I smiled

"Yeah, don't you have any other siblings so I can bump into them or something?" I joked as we both laughed

"No, it's just me, Harry, and our mom" I smiled and nodded. The thought of her not having a dad with her to make her breakfasts, kiss her goodnight, or protect her from bad guys is making me sad but I didn't bring it up

"What is it today?"

"Just like yesterday please" I smiled at her

She started to do her job as I leaned against the counter with my elbows

"So, Harry invited me to the club with his friends this Friday. Is there any chance you go with us?" I asked hopefully as she chuckled and turned to look at me

"Yeah, he always invites me on such things so I'll be there don't worry" she assured as I let out a breath of relief "Harry mumbled something about you meeting Ryder yesterday" Jen brought up as she put a cup of latte on the table

"Yeah, he looked kinda kind at the beginning but turned out as a jerk just a few minutes after" I chuckled as Jen put brownies on the table as well

"That will be £3.20" I hand her the money but kept standing next to her while sipping on the coffee

"He is a jerk kinda, but every girl in school has a crush on him for some reason. He repeats the senior because he didn't get through. He doesn't care about his grades at all" she rolls her eyes " I mean, yeah he's kinda handsome but if there's nothing in there" she pointed at her head with her index "then it doesn't make any sense to date it" she scoffed and started to clean her workspace
