Trouble at the Gates

Naru's POV
Kashi and me had been in Suna for two weeks already and I was loving it!! The food the freedom nobody's glares no stalkers and the love of my life beside me. We were on break from doing missions since we became certified ninjas pretty quick I was still a genin though because I hadn't taken the test yet I was pretty mad but calmed down when they offered to buy me ramen and Kashi stayed a Jonin. Today Kashi and I decided we were going to surprise Gaara , Temari,and Kankuro with lunch that we cooked together Kashi is a super cook and I'm not to bad so together we're a power chef couple !! I giggled to myself while thinking that ,Kashi looked up at me from his book what are you laughing at Naru I told him and he giggled with me soon we arrived at Gaara's office and we jumped through the window surprise!! I could tell Gaara didn't expect us with the way his paperwork scattered all over the floor, I put down the lunch and helped him pick it up along with Kashi while teasing him about it. Then Gaara called in his secretary to get his sibling so that we could eat once they came we started digging in chatting about our days I was sharing my food with Kashi well I guess more like stuffing him since his cheeks were starting to swell and Kankuro broke out laughing at him. Kashi then silently put more salt in Kankuro's food and I struggled not to laugh I saw Temari also struggling.

Gaara POV
As I was eating lunch with everyone on of  the ninja ran in "sir Konoha has sent some ninja to come and search for Naruko!" The ninja here had welcomed Naru and Kakashi into Suna very well and I was proud to be able to offer a safe place for them back to the subject though I told the ninja to say we were busy and to make arrangement for them away from the area that we live in the ninja fidgeted and then told me they demanded to see me I sighed and got up telling the ninja to invite them in but keep them under watch until they reached the office the ninja agreed and left quickly. I then turned around to see Kankuro's face scrunched up while Temari and Naru were laughing at him and Kakashi was trying to hold in his laughing face I got their attention and told what just happened and they got mad at Konaha pretty fast "why can't they just let Naru and Kakashi go they ran away clearly that means they don't want to come back their so annoying!!"yelled Temari Naruko and Kakashi sighed "alright we'll head back and stay there tell us what happened after" I agreed and we waved them bye just as they left our line of sight we heard a knock on the door I sat down at the table and put on my hat and robe "come in!" I roughly stated.
