"But mother, why must I marry someone who I've never met?" Blossom asked, as her mother and servants prepared her to meet her betrothed.
"Because my dear, it will bring peace between our kingdoms and ensure that no wars happen again."
Back when the king and queen first got married, a war arose between them and the Nether, after 2 years, it ended in a stalemate, with a treaty being made saying that the next born children of both kingdoms would be married to ensure peace in our time.
"It's still not fair, what if I don't love him? From what everyone is saying he is a horrible person and his family is completely awful," Blossom worriedly told her mother.
"If he is like that then help him. Help him become a better person. If you can't do that then no one can,'' her mother told her encouragingly.
"Alright, mother, I guess I will give it a chance," she replied, still sounding worried.
"It will be fine, trust me."
Blossom and her mother headed down to the throne room to meet the guest who would be arriving shortly.
"Presenting the king and queen of the Nether," announced the herald as the royals entered the throne room.
