Have you ever wondered?
What lies after death?
Is it stone cold?
Or is it light, and fresh?
Have you ever wondered?
If the clouds weren’t there?
To hang over your head,
And have a shadow to spare?
Have you ever wondered?
If the trees didn’t dance?
Every time the wind blew,
Making the fallen leaves prance?
Have you ever wondered?
If the sun didn’t glow?
The skies would be gray,
And there would be no sparkle in the snow.
Have you ever wondered?
If the flowers had no color?
Fields would be boring,
And it would make the world duller.
Have you ever wondered?
If we had no earth?
Where would we go?
Would we go to Pluto?
Or rather would we go to a place we’ve never heard of?
Would we go to a place where the grass was not greener?
And the people who live there were much, much, meaner?
What would we do if life was plain and dull?
Imagine a beach without warm sand or seagulls.
No one to love,
No one to care,
No wind to hit your face,
Neither warm nor cool air.
What were to happen?
If nature was no longer our mother?
Or if there was no Sheppard to be our brother?
Why would we let this happen?
Well I’ll tell you why.
Because of the careless selfish people,
Who live in our world.
Throwing trash everywhere,
Not giving a thought, or a care.
If we treat the world like this,
Don’t you think god will revolt?
He would not stand for this,
He would strike you in a jolt.
He would leave the world colorless,
He would leave the world boring.
He would give the sky no stars for the night,
Nor would He give a sunrise for the morning.
But in the meantime,
When there’s nothing left to argue,
I just have to ask you,
What would you do?
