A few days later I was sitting on my bed doing math homework. I just got home from practice and needed to take a shower but wanted to get my homework done first.
I was on the floor listening to my iPod when I feel my phone vibrate. "Who could be texting me?" I think to myself.
I put my pencil down and pick up my phone. Colton's name was on my screen. "He texted me? He never does this," I think to myself again.
I opened his message and he just said a simple 'hi'. But that simple hi was just enough to set my stomach on fire again.
I replied saying, heyy and set my phone next to me and went back to work.
A few seconds later though my phone vibrated again. I unlocked my phone and he replied what's up.
Just finishing up some homework. you? I replied.
Just sitting around the house'
Sounds boring lol
It is. Can I ask you a question?
Sure. What is he going to ask me? I always start to freak out when people ask me that. Cause I never know.
My stomach was doing flips waiting. I was in my bathroom about to get into the shower when I see my phone light up. I walk over to it and unlock my phone. is there anyone you like?
I freeze. Um yes? Why would he be asking me this? I reply, yes, but idk if he likes me back.
I decided that I'm going to wait a minute and if he doesn't reply by then I'm gonna get in the shower. I stand there looking at my phone, waiting, feeling very upset to my stomach due to nerves. I always feel like I'm about to get sick when I become very nervous.
A few seconds later he replies, who.
You
Gosh I can't believe that was just said. I'm practically jumping. Before I actually do get sick I'm gonna take a quick shower.
Ten minutes later I got out and practically ran to my phone. He replied, well, I do
You like me back?
Yeah, why wouldn't I? You're very attractive
I blush so badly. really?
Yes, you don't think so?
I don't have the best self confidence
And whys that?
I'd rather not talk about it
I was picked on in middle school. I had just moved from up north and everyone loves to pick on the new kid. I was called fat, useless, ugly, and practically every other name you can possibly think of. I don't really like to talk about it.
The rest of the night was spent texting and snapchatting him.
Figuring out he liked me back, I was so happy. The happiest I've been in a very long time.
