<Belladonna POV>

The week after the incident was auditions for our show. I had managed to convince the mayor to let us perform to the town in the town hall and had gotten sponsors as well as stage hands and people backstage doing hair, makeup and I would sew costumes. Now all we needed was students to play the parts. I was going out for Belle but was fine as long as I got a singing part. I had talked to the two teachers and they made sure I would at least get a major part if not Belle - they had seen me in classes however and believed I would be perfect for Belle but I still needed to audition. Therefore I was dressed the part and even went so far as to procure a wig for me to wear.

Soon it was my turn and I walked out onto the stage. Everyone gasped - used to seeing me in black and never in a dress. I smirked and began to sing.

This is the Paris of my childhood
These were the borders of my life
In this crumbling, dusty attic
Where an artist loved his wife

Easy to remember, harder to move on
Knowing the Paris of my childhood is gone

It was short. It was sweet. It was a perfect audition.

"Belladonna, please wait here while we audition for the beast. Everyone auditioning for Belle you may leave unless you wish to audition for a different part." I was ecstatic. I got Belle! I was just sat listening to a bunch of boys sing terribly until Edward came onto stage! I didn't know he could sing let alone he was auditioning for Beast. I smiled encouragingly at him as he began to sing.
