Nandini stands in front of the mirror with a towel wrapped around her body, she turned around multiple times checking herself out.

Manik comes there and looks at her, she didn't even realise he was there she was just so busy checking herself out. He smiles shaking his head and goes to her from behind wrapping his arms around her baby bump, placing his head on her shoulders looking at her through the mirror.

"You're even more beautiful like this" he places a kiss on her bare shoulders.

Nandini was almost 5 months pregnant now and the baby bump was clearly visible, her face had gone a little chubbier too. She wouldn't say she hated that but she just looked different and with her constant mood swings she would feel insecure here and there.

"You're saying it to make me feel better about myself" Nandini replies

"Hell no, look at those cute baby cheeks they look even more tempting now.." manik kisses her cheeks "and your belly is probably the most beautiful part of your body right now you know why?"

"Why?" Nandini asks him looking at him through the mirror "because you've got a part of us growing in you, it's what we made together" he whispers in her ears which makes Nandini break in to a smile instantly.

She turns around keeping that huge smile on her face "you know baaton mein tumse koi nahi jeet sakta" she wraps her hands around his neck

"I know, I learnt it from you. You always used to talk back to me" manik says keeping his hands on her belly

"I still do" Nandini bites her lips

Manik nods "but I love it when you do, brings out a sexy side of you" he goes and pecks her lips

"Right.. then I should start listening to you and not talk back" Nandini replies

"Okay that's even more sexier because Tum Meri baat sunti hi nahi ho! In this five months kitni baar maine Tumhe daat kar apni baat manvayi hai" manik looks at her

Manik was not wrong, Nandini was going through so many mood swings that sometimes she would not feel like eating and doing things that doctor recommended her, manik would literally be behind her making sure she gets through it but also not feeling too exhausted.

Nandini looks down in disappointment

"Oh and, we are going on a date today remember? It's already like 5:30" manik looks at the watch he was wearing.

Manik used to often take Nandini on dates even before pregnancy but during this time she took her more pampering her all along, Nandini loved going on dates with him and spending more time with him before the baby comes.

"I'll get ready" Nandini says and let's go of manik, she walks over to her wardrobe and grabs a nice dress and puts it on while manik was finishing off his work on his laptop.

Nandini sits in front of the mirror and does her makeup a little and was finally done.

"Manik im ready" she tells him and goes sitting beside him.

"Give me 10 minutes, just need to re check and email this" he gives her a smile, she nods.

2 minutes passed, and she already started to get impatient now.

"Manik kitni der?" She asks him

He looks at her while typing "some more minutes babe, be patient"

Nandini huffed looking away, she went on her phone closing and opening random apps getting irritated

"Manik" she calls him out again

"5 more minutes promise" he replies again

"It's been half an hour"
