Chapter 5: And you are...?
I hear a knob turn, the door opened, and a short pretty gir- woman with shoulder length brown hair, brown eyes stands in the door way. Out of the corner of my eye I see Thor's face soften and the woman put a hand to her mouth, "Thor." she breathed out.
"Jane," my brother answered and the woman- Jane rushes forward and gives him a hug. Thor returns the embrace and shuts his eyes, his tall muscular frame almost encapsulating Little Jane whose head barely reaches my brother's shoulder. They stay like that for several moments, when they finally break apart Little Jane turns and notices me for the first time, I can see the look of confusion in her eyes and in the slight tilt of her head. I can tell she has many things running through her head including, who the heck I am.
Luckily my brother answers the unasked question that Little Jane and I share, "Jane Foster, my little sister, Ember. Ember, Jane Foster."
I nod to her and she smiles at me, "Nice to meet you, Ember."
"Pleasure." I reply.
"Jane," Thor injects, and she turns to look at him, "we need your help. It's about Loki."
