RECAP!!

"Sorry." I blurted out.

Wait! This guy looks familiar, is he...... He couldn’t be Nate! It’s impossible.  The last time I saw him was when? Ten years ago, and then now.... How? Why? When?

A lot of questions pondered round my mind. Is it really him? If he really is him, what is he doing here? When did he moved here? How's hhe been? Does he know we moved in?

"Sorry." I blurted out again.

He cupped my chin and made me tip on my toes. "Aleana?" He asked, surprised plus disbelief crosse his face.

"Nate?" I asked. My eyes widened. "Nate!" I exclaimed.

He stared at me and let go of my chin. He studied me for a minute or two then, "Aleana!" he exclaimed.

He threw me a big hug. "Hello there buddy." I said, hardly breathing.

He pulled away from his uber big hug. "Hiya back." He said, smiling. "When did you moved here? With who? How? Why?" He asked.

"I moved in three days ago, with dad." I said.

He nodded. "So where's your mom?" He asked.

I don't why those simple question made me tear up. But the answer were so simple.

"She's umm... she's... she's dead." I said.

"I'm so sorry." Nate quickly said.

"It's okay." I said. "Nothing to worry about."

He nodded. "Okay."

"So, how have you been? I mean look at you, you look at you!! You look like Brad Pitt!" I said. His body were soooo like Brad Pitt's, his smile would put all models to shame, and those green eyes of his that could have hypnotized anyone.

"I've been working out." He said.

"That goes without saying." I said sarcastically.

He rolled his eyes. "So where did you moved in?" he asked.

"Umm... what if I just bring you there." I suggested.

He bit his lip. "That would be great!" he said.

"Awesome. You're the first guest." I said.

"That is sooo flattering." He said sarcastically.

We walked back home full with stories of our lives. It may have sounded corny, but what the heck! I haven't seen this guy for almost ten years!

I opened the front door. Locked. I put my hands on my hips.  I bit my lip. What to do? What to do?

"What is it?"  he asked.

"Locked." I said.

He nodded. "Tried the back door?" he asked.

I shook my head. "Nope."

On our way back, we heard a faint guitar music, then it faded. Nate and I went totally curius.

When we reached the back door, dad had already set up a small swing over-viewing the beach, he also got the porch fixed which was a good thing, the view here was awesome. But nothing surprised me more than seeing him playing his guitar.

"Hi dad." I said. "You do remember Nate, right?"

"Nate Adamson?" he asked.

Nate nodded.

"Of course. Why would I forget you! How's your old man?" my dad asked to Nate.

"He's been pretty fine." Nate said.
