Trigger warning: cussing

The two of them were talking, speaking to eachother while eating their meal they have ordered. Suddenly, (y/n)'s thoughts wandered somewhere else, a question.

"Ne, Mikey-kun." (Y/n) suddenly spoke up, as their (e/c) irises bored into his pinch black ones."Hmm? Yes, (y/n)-chin?" he asked, tilting his head,  like somekind of lost puppy. He was wearing his usual carefree smile on his face.

"Who do you have to girft for christmas..?" they asked, since they were quiet suspicious of him befriending them. The blonde haired male just started at them blankly for a few minutes, as he sweatdropped.

"Ohhhh, I have to gift uhm... your friend.. her name's Emi-chin! Right?" he said, rubbing the back of his neck. (Y/n) pressed their lips into a thin line, as they looked at their empty plate. "I.. I can help you out with finding her the gifts!" (Y/n) said, looking up from their plate with a small smile.

"Hhuuuuhh? You don't have to though!" he said, a carefree smile plastering on his face, still."Uhmm... then perhaps why did you befriend me?" they spoke, as the furrowed an eywbrow, their face twisting in confusion.

"Well, you see, I've found interest in you!" he said. It would be a lie, if he would say anything else, although, it was also cuz he actually had to gift them."Oh, really? I'm boring, though-" they paused, only to see Mikey just leaning over the table, his face almost inches away from theirs.

"No, you're not!" he said, as he poked thwir cheeks. (Y/n) couldn't help but blush a little bit as a reaction.Mikey couldn't help but find it adorable, although he was still poking their cheeks with his index finger.

(Y/n) looked out of the window. It was getting dark. Their (e/c) irises were just glancing out the window, seeing the lights suddenly being turned on. The streets were dark before that, though, they liked that though.

"Mikey, we should go home.. it's getting late.." they muttered under their breath as a small glimpse of sigh have escaped their lips. Mikey was just galncing at them, with his pure, pinch black irises.

"Alrighty, (Y/n)." he said, his head resting on the palm of his hand. He already payed for their meal, and once everything was all done, the two sat up, and took a step outside the store's door.

(Y/n) was staying quiet while taking their walk through the empty streets of the city. It almost seemed like a ghost town at night. Although the only thing those (e/c) irises could see were either the glimpse of shadows.

They weren't scared, though, rather tired. This day was rough, yet again, they could make a friend. At least they didn't felt lonely that one day in their lives, like in usual days.

The pair of (e/c) orbs suddenly glanced at the night sky. On the black base of the sky there were thousands, billions of stars till the enternety. They wondered how many stars could be up there, they were curious.

"Ne, (Y/n)?" the blonde haired male suddenly spoke, now breaking the awkward silence in between the two of them. (Y/n)'s (h/c) locks moved as they moved their vision on the blonde. "Hmmm? What is it?" they suddenly furrowed an eyebrow.

The blonde glanced at the h/c haired (Y/n), his pinch black, dark eyes boring into theirs. They blinked at him, they found his eyes so mesmerising, yet so dull. Nobody, not even they knew what secrets those eyes hide away from the cruel world.

"What do you think... who pulled your name?" his words escaped his throat, as he still held his vision on them. (Y/n)'s eyes just widened in nothing but pure surprise. To be honest, they would be too dumb to even find out who pulled their name.

"Meh, to be honest, I didn't even thought of that.." they said, placing a finger underneath their chin, now drowning deep into their thoughts, while they were glancing at the starry sky. The sky was beautiful that time, although they couldn't get lost in it.

Suddenly, (Y/n) stopped walking. "Ah, I guess our journey ends here.." their words escaped, while muttering under their breath. The two could here two voices, arguing. (Y/n) couldn't help but roll their (e/c) orbs.

"Uhm.. is everything okay there..?" the blonde's words slipped out as a question. (Y/n) just turned around, a smile, that held a hint of sadness, yet also couple of secrets was painted on their face. They seemed like they were already used to these kind of things.

"It's all fine... it's just parents.. yeah! Parents.." they muttered under their breath, still holding that fake seeming smile on their face. "Y'know, you can just come to my place if you want to-" Mikey spoke up, looking at the floor, his eyes glued there. The only thing that awakened his attention was a smaller gasp heard from (Y/n).

"W-wait, are you really sure about that? You know you don't have to-" - "Yes, just come already!" the blonde interrupted (Y/n)'s sentence, as he started walking, the sound of his footsteps being heard clearly. (Y/n) just dashed after him, their fast, rushing footsteps being heard, too.

Suddenly, an awkward silence settled in between the two. (Y/n) was just looking through the streets with their (e/c) irises, while Mikey was shooting glances at them some of the times. All the places where people could buy things were closed. Yet the streets were so beautiful without people literally filling them.

"I'm sorry." Mikey suddenly broke the silence in between the two, only to gain a confused glance from (Y/n). They held a confused expression on their face, holding thousand of readable questions on their face. "Huh? For what?" they asked, as they furrowed an eyebrow in curiousity.

"For your parents, it just seemed like that was going on for months." he muttered under his breath, his eyes glued on the floor. (Y/n) looked at the almost end of the street, and a cheerful smile have plastered on their lips. "I'm actually thankful for you inviting me to your place." they said, smiling from ear to ear.

"Hhuuuhh?" Mikey hummed, in almost a questioning tone, now his pinch black irirses looking over at the (h/c) person beside him. "My parents would never even notice that I'm not there, plus, I can't fall asleep cuz of their shitty arguments.." they said, now the cheerful smile morphing into a sad one.

"What? I'm sure that things will get better soon! I feel like it'll!" the blonde haired male said, almost like in an attempt to cheer the person beside him. He felt like he knew them for a decade, although they only met that day. "Oh, only if this would be a fairytale.. haha.." they said, a quiet sad laughter escaping their lips.

Mikey looked at them. A quiet hint of worry on his face. He was speechless, yet also out of words of what to say to them. "Hah... anyhow! Where do you live?" the (h/c) haired person asked, now changing the whole subject. Mikey just stopped from the sudden, then glanced at (Y/n), with a small smile on his face.

"We're here, (Y/n)." he said, a small smile still being painted on his face. He then just opened the door with his key, and as (Y/n) stepped inside, they could feel the warm air from inside hitting their face. They also felt something, something warm, something they never felt before.

It was the feeling of home.
