The next day, Freddy dropped off Sarah to school. She put a smile on her face, but her heart felt something else, anger, sadness, disappointment, and so much more. "Hey Sarah!" She heard a familiar voice, it was Nathan. She felt a hand touch her's and she flinched, Nathan smiled and chuckled. Sarah put on a big grin on her face, but Nathan saw right through it. "What's wrong?" He asked tilting his head. Sarah eyes filled with tears as she squeezed his hand, "My daddy hurt my mom again..." She said crying. Nathan's eyes widened and he pulled the crying girl over to him. He hugged her tightly as he placed her in his lap. Sarah blushed as she wiped her tears away, she giggled as she put a hand on his cheek.

Nathan blushed and chuckled nervously, "Hehe, it seems your doing better." He said as she leaned away. Sarah smiled as she held Nathan's wheelchair handles, "C'mon, let's go.." The boy said as he rolled himself into the school. Sarah nodded as she smiled brightly, holding her cane beside her. Nathan smiled as they made their way to class, "Ya know, if I had legs I would hold your hand everyday.." The blushing boy said. Sarah blushed as she made her way to her seat, "U-Uh..." She said quietly. Nathan smiled as he held her hand, her heart started to race as she blushed madly, she never felt anything like is before, and she liked it. Sarah held his hand closely to her as she smiled happily, "Can you promise me that you'll always be with me?" She asked smiling.

Nathan blushed, "Yeah, of course.." He said surprised. The girl giggled as she brought out a pencil, "Alrighty then, let's get this living hell started, okay?" She said with a small giggle in her voice. Nathan chuckled, "Alright.." He said quietly. Sarah looked down at the ground, her eyes shut, "I wish I could see, I want to know what the sun looks like.." She said with a smile. Nathan grinned, "Well, it's warm, happy, bright, beautiful, thing that describe you.." He said looking at her. Her cheeks grew warm again, she knew that she would have to get used to it, but how? She held his hand tightly and giggled, "Why thank you~." She said smiling sweetly. The blonde boy nodded as he looked at their entwined hands, he smiled softly.

"Hey Sarah."

"Yeah?"

"Wanna get lunch today?"

"Of course~"

After class, Sarah did the same routine she did yesterday. They went to the cafeteria and sat down, Nathan pulled out his red lunch box and smiled. "So, what did ya bring to lunch?" He asked as he looked at Sarah. Stay sighed sadly, "Nothing, my night was shit last night, so my mom, brother, and I had to leave.." She said quietly. Nathan nodded, "Don't worry, I won't tell anyone. Want some of my food though?" He asked as he brought out a piece of cheese pizza his mom made. Sarah nodded and put her hands flat on the table, "Here, just put it in my hand.." She said smiling. Nathan nodded and fave her the cheese pizza, he watched as she ate it, he was getting really worried, it looked like she hadn't eaten in at least two days..
