Ace's POV

I was sitting down on Pops ship, well our ship. I'm waiting for my girlfriend coming back from a mission, she and Marco along with Izo had a mission in East Blue in her hometown. She's (L/N) D. (Y/N) and she is a 19 years old chubby girl who I love very much, she is the only person who melted my heart to be honest. She is a rare species too, she is a yokai and is a fox yokai that can manipulate purple fox fire, well much like to mine but she can make commands on those fires as if they are alive. Anyways (Y/N) is the only girl of the Whitebeard pirates, Pops took her in after me.

"I heard that the mission is tough for the three of them......will they get back?"some of our crewmates asked as I looked at him

"Hey, don't talk about anything like that! They will, especially her"I said as everyone looks at me, Pops coughed

"I know they will get back, especially (Y/N). She's a tough brat, she'll return with both Marco and Izo safely. Trust in them, you brats!"Pops said and I nodded while drinking beer, I sighed since I cannot help but to worry.

"If you're worrying about her, she and the other two will come back"some guy said as I sighed

"Yeah....."I said and looks at the sky, it's getting dark as finally, their group came back. But I don't know why (Y/N) is not with them

"Hey Marco, where's (Y/N)?"I asked and Izo looks at me, he looks at Marco and Marco looks at me, one of the nurse then came rushing towards us, carrying a badly wounded (Y/N). I widened my eyes and quickly went to them but Marco stopped me

"Marco-san! (Y/N)-san's heart isn't beating!"the nurse said as I widened my eyes

"What?"I asked as Marco told the nurse to quickly move her to the bed where his clinic is, I looked at Izo

"Izo! Explain!"I said as Izo looks at the ground

"W-we finished the mission....."Izo said while he paused and I looked at him

"I don't care about your fucking mission! WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO HER?!"I asked as Pops and the others told me to calm down but I didn't, I wanna know the answers

"T-the mission is successful by.....(Y/N) sacrificing herself to defeat the enemy....ap-apparently, it was a yokai too. She and him were enemies....well their ancestors were....."Izo said as I widened my eyes, I remember her saying something in her sleep and talked about her ancestor with me.

"What the fuck....."I said and Izo sighed

"She told us that if she cannot make it.....she told us to tell you that she loves you, she would like to meet Luffy as you always told her to"Izo said as I angrily pushed him

"She will survive this. She's strong! Me and her are gonna meet Luffy next week!"I said and walked to our room, mine and her room. Pictures of us were on their, I looked at one picture though, it was when she and I joined the crew not a few months before Pops found me.

".....y-you will survive, (Y/N). I know you will..."I said as I waited for a few hours, I went to the clinic as Marco called me along with Pops and the others.

"Ace.....I'm sorry about this...."Marco seemed hesitant, I widened my eyes, I gripped his shoulders

"She's miraculously fine....but I don't think she will wake up any time sooner, she's in a coma.....apparently, I think she's trying her best to stay in her body. You are going in Alabasta for your younger brother, right? She wants you to go without her, seeing her state of not being able to be awake for now"Marco said and I looked at him
