Ch.13: Performance?

"T-The lead si-singer...is...GIAN??!!!" I asked, shocked.

"Wow. Sikat na nga talaga ang papa Gian ko. Pati ikaw kilala mo siya. Oh well, siya si Gian Carlo Valderama. Ang frontman at leader ng fusion beats. At siya din ang dahilan kung bakit Heartbeat ako ngayon," Tracey replied, smiling.

I just continued to stare at Gian. Hindi ko na alam ang dapat isipin ko.

Ang pinaka-introvert at annoying person na nakilala ko at ang ultimate rival ko, isang rockstar at night? Oh please. Totoo ba ito?!

[Gian's POV]

Pagkatapos ng pagpasok at intro sa amin ni Kate, the curtains went down. We checked our instruments while we can hear our fans' cheers.

I was checking the microphone when I noticed two people smiling happily at me.

"What?" I asked Ren and Led.

The two just shook their head and continued looking at me, smiling.

"Ano ba?" I glared at them.

"Morriieee. Yieeee," they both teased at the same time.

"Morrie, can you be my girlfriend?" Led tried na gayahin ang boses ko. Pero he sounded like a cheap cowboy in a corney wild wild west movie.

"Oo, papa Gian. I loooove you," Ren replied in a girl's voice. Pero para lang naman siyang naipit na daga sa pinto. 'Di siya boses babae. Kadiri.

Then the two looked at me with those annoying smiles again. Ugh! Seriously!

Lumapit ako sa kanila and I took both of their heads and bumped both with each other.

They both shouted and winced in pain.

"Aray naman!"

"It serves you right. Mga sira ulo!" I shouted at them.

Mart chuckled, "Hoy mga sira! Tama na. We're about to start."

"Wow, nagsalita na ang lolo natin," Ren said.

Then tumawa ang lahat well, except kay Mart. Hehehe.

This is what I like about us.

Kilala na namin ang isa't isa.

"Okay this is it! Ready?" I asked.

"Yeah!" the others replied in unison.

I stretched out my hand in front of me, signaling our usual habit before playing. They all gathered around at pinatong ang mga kamay nila sa akin.

"1, 2, 3! Go...Fusionbeats!"

"And now the moment you all have been waiting for. Give it up for the....Fusionbeats!!!"

The curtains went up and we started playing our song.

I'm so happy to hear how the crowd cheered us loudly. I can see many banners. Wow. Yung iba may pictures pa namin. I smiled as I started singing.

Paper bags and plastic hearts

All our belongings in shopping carts

It's goodbye
