I've been smiling the whole time, I tried my best to control my smile but Jay and Jin have been talking and asking me questions about Imani the whole elevator ride. Usually I would get annoyed, but this time I wasn't. Whilst in the elevator I aske Jay and Jin what the problem was and they only told me that I would find out once I got downstairs. I hate surprises and if they are planning some kind of surprise party for me, I would kill them.

"This better not be some type of surprise party, I have a special someone waiting for me upstairs".

"Kane do you really think we have time for that", Jin said.

"Well not you Jin, but Jay we all know you are capable of such".

"I used to, but now I'm too busy Kane", he replied. We all know who's keeping him busy.

"I'm getting married", *ding* the elevator door opened, leaving us with no time to ask Jay what he is talking about. Did Naomi actually agree to marry him. Jay marriage? what, I thought Jin or I were gonna get married before him. Isn't he a player?

We stepped out to the lobby and we are met by the angry face of MR. and MRS. Xian, with their daughter and what's left of a son. I knew exactly what they were here for and I was really not in the mood for it.

"Mr. and Mrs. Xian, to what do I owe this pleasure?"

"Kane, I thought we had an agreement", Mr. Xian spoke up.

"Can we continue this conversation in my board room. Please follow me", great, now I have to waste my time on these people all because of a dead man, who I once called a father. We got in the elevator and it was filled with silence, the only thing you could hear was Jay's phone and the video games he was playing. As we were walking to the board room, I spotted Imani rolling on the floor with her phone in her hand. We walked into the board room and started the meeting.

"Kane, what's going on why did you stop the wedding", Mr. Xian said and the whole room went silent.

"Because, I wasn't planning on marrying your daughter".

"Shut your mouth, you don't know what you are saying, young man!" Mrs. Xian hissed at me. Jin and Jay, laughing from the back. Fucking jerks.

"Kane we are meant to start a family together, build an empire", Victoria says.

"I don't love you Victoria, I never did", I said to her in a cold tone.

"How dare you talk to my sister like that Kane", her brother who I once trusted said.

"Listen Li I don't have time for you or your families bullshit ok", I was really starting to get pissed off.

"Mr. and Mrs. Xian, there will be no wedding, I do not love your daughter".

"Kane your father made-" they were cut off by Imani walking in the room.

"As he clearly stated, there will be no wedding. Kane's father had arranged this wedding, not Kane and since Mr. Kim is dead, the wedding is dead as well. If you don't mind Kane, Jin, Jay and I have some business to discuss. You know where the exit is", she said as she grabbed my arm and pulled me out of the room, daring isn't she.

"Was that my princess being jealous?" I asked her with a smirk on my face, she simply rolled her eyes at me and continued walking to my office with Jin and Jay following behind us.

We got to the office and shut the door behind us. "What would you like to talk about Abbas", Jay asked.

"Have a seat", she said.

"Why do I feel like you just claimed my office as your own?" I said, giving her a death glare.

"Because I did", and there's the Imani I missed.

"Ooo, she's back", Jin said.
