No ones POV: Nia didn't always have a happy life before moving she lived in a very abuse and toxic house hold her Father would hurt her her mother would blame her for things she never done, the effects of being abuse carried thorough to now, being 19 she hates when people raise there voice she hates shouting, she still flinches when people raise there hands up

it was something the Super Friends started to notice these things but never said anything, currently J'onn was explaining the plan as they get up going to we're the Aline is after fighting the alien Nia was holding her side as she sat down in the tower Alex quickly Noticed this and walks over

Alex: hey are you alright?

Nia: oh yeah yeah i'm fine

Alex: hey ur not let me see

*Nia sighed and pulled her shirt up to see a huge Bruise when they were fighting the alien it hit her really hard in the stomach but Alex noticed a scar

Alex: Dang what happens there?

Nia: oh erm just a scar

Alex: what happened?

*Alex nods a few hours pass Alex went to Kara Lena and Kelly*

Alex: has Nia ever talked about her family to anyone?

Nia: my dad he used to...hurt me...my mother would blame me for things i never even did witch always ended with a slap or a punch or not getting fed for the entire week

Alex: we shouldn't have asked

Lena: we should have expected no we're so sorry
