Chapter 8

"what the hell do you want Lora?!" she batted her eyelashes at me and said "well, I'm back in town and thought I'd stop by" "well you can leave now" she rolled her eyes and stepped inside "Leo... Your all alone in this house and yet you don't try getting your hands on me, why?" "we're history, now leave" she smiled and ran a finger down my chest and said "nope, I wanna have some fun" I pushed her away and then when she tried getting close again I let out a menacing growl. She looked surprised but then smirked and said "whose the girl upstairs?" I gave her a blank expression and said "just leave all right, it's none of your business" she smiled and said "you do realize that she probably does have a mate somewhere?" I thought about it before but I was diverting my mind of the topic. She ran her hands down my arms and said "I'm mate less... And I'll wait for you until you get over your little crush with that girl. Because that's what she is... A girl." "Lora leave" it was a command which left no room for discussion. She smiled and said "I'll see you around, Leo..." and she walked out. I sighed and sat in an armchair thinking about Candy.

Candy P.O.V.

I got to my room smiling like an idiot. OMFG! I. Just. Made. Out. With Leo!!! I collapsed on my bed and let out a sigh. I couldn't believe this, I was starting to fall for Leo, and I'm pretty sure he was mate. But what if he's still in love with his first mate? I shook those thoughts away and smiled when I got a text from Rose

Rose: wanna hang out?

Me: sure!

Rose: meet me @ donut shop in ten

Me: k c ya

I changed into pink skinny jeans with a white tank top, put on white flats and I put my hair in a neat pony tail. I went downstairs to find Leo sitting on a couch staring off into space. I waved a hand in front of him and said "Leo..." he didn't even blink I cleared my throat and... Nothing. I snapped my fingers, nope. I stomped my foot ... yeah no. I let out an exasperated sigh and yelled "LEO!!" that snapped him out of it. He looked at me and said "what?!" "can you drive me to some donut shop? I need to meet Rose" he looked at me weird and finally said "yeah I'll get my keys" I smiled and got on the car. When we arrived he said "call me to come pick you up" I nodded and smiled he looked like he wanted to do something but thought better and just smiled back. I went into the donut shop to find Rose sitting in a booth with a fiery red summer dress her hair in soft curls and she was wearing brown cowgirl boots and she actually looked great. "Rose!" she smiled and waved I went up to her and said "wow. You look AMAZING!" she blushed and said "yeah well...remember my crush was coming over?" I nodded and she said "well... He's my MATE! And he told me I'm beautiful!" "OMG! Rose! That's great! I'm soooooooo happy for you!" she smiled and said "thanks so I'm thinking well tell everyone as soon as school starts so please keep it a secret" I nodded and said "my lips are sealed. Although I doubt you can keep your hands of each other for too long" she blushed a deep red and I burst out laughing. She covered her face and said "shut up . So tell me what's up with you and Leo?" "what?" she sighed and said "something is up considering he's actually come out. And with YOU" "nothing is up" she gave this 'don't lie to me look' and I sighed in surrender making her grin. "well we've sort of... Made out?" she gasped then so loudly yelled "YOU SLEPT WITH HIM?!" I gasped at realizing she just blurted out like that. Not to mention the looks people were giving us, some were not so nice. "umm... Sorry my friend here is a bit CRAZY" they went back to minding their business when I said "no! We just kissed" she gasped and again yelled "YOU KISSED HIM!?" I sighed since we were once again the center of attention. "stop shouting yes. And I well I really liked it" she smiled and yelled "YOU LIKED IT!?" some people laughed an others just left. "Rose! Yes I liked it. We were making out in the huge living room on the love seat." she smiled even bigger and yelled "IT WAS HUGE!?" I buried my face in my hands while Rose blushed after realizing she said it a little too loud. And a few morons yelled

"That's what she said"

And it was more embarrassing after realizing Leo was now behind me grinning like an idiot.
