Chapter 2

3rd POV: Lucifer didn't know exactly what to tell the detective

Lucifer: It's complicated detective

Chloe: Is he your son? Yes or no?

Lucifer: Biologically yes, but it's not like I'm a dad as you might have noticed

Chloe: Why you never told me about him?

Lucifer: I didn't even know if he was alive if I'm being honest with you. It's been so long

Chloe: Did you.. leave?

Lucifer: No!

Chloe: What happened?

Lucifer: Detective, it's not the time or place to do this. I'll fill you in the hole story later, alright?

Chloe: Fine - he opened the door

Lucifer: After you

They went back to Chloe's desk but Lucas wasn't there anymore

Lucifer: Unbelievable..

Chloe: Is it? He's your son isn't he? - she pointed at him and Lucifer turned around to find Lucas talking with some girl - Not two.. I can't handle two Lucifers

Lucifer: There's only one devil, thank you

Chloe whistled and Lucas looked at her, she mouthed "come here, now". He smiled to the girl and she gave him a piece of paper and he came near them

Lucas: I'm not a dog you know.

Chloe: Clearly you can't sit and stay

Lucas/Lucifer: Depends on who asks - they looked at each other

Chloe: Lucas I need you to focus here. What happened to the security camera files?

Lucas: I don't know

Chloe: That's not the best answer

Lucas: I didn't erase them

Chloe: Then who did?

Lucas: I don't know!

Chloe asked a few more questions but Lucas didn't know how to answer them. Lucifer was staring at him throughout the conversation

Lucas: Can you stop? - he looked at Lucifer

Lucifer: You're not lying..

Lucas: I don't lie

Chloe: The apple doesn't fall far from the tree - Lucas got up

Lucas: I'm nothing like him

Chloe: We'll see.

And then Dan came near them

Dan: I'm sorry Lucifer, but boss said he needs to be interrogated in the room like every other suspect

Lucas: Can't say it's my first time being interrogated - he walked ahead to the interrogation room and they followed them

Chloe and Dan sat down on one side of the table, Lucas in the other side and Lucifer was standing on the side

Dan: You've seen this car?

Lucas: Yes, again, I worked on it. He needed a new carburetor, a poppet valve. He needed some work on the crankshaft and on the camshaft. And he needed to change the gaskets but the pistons were fine. The liners were good, I changed one of the rings and one of the connecting rods..

Lucifer: Lucas

Lucas: Hm?

Lucifer: English - Lucas looked at Lucifer then at Chloe and Dan
