Chptr ~ 7 [ Name 🎶 ]

The sound of the guitar continued to flow through the room like a sweet smell blowing through the wind, Jirou watched Denkis fingers run through up and down the strings like a artist painting a masterpiece. The atmosphere was calm and the bed they sat on felt soft and comfortable. As Jirou continued watching the blonde boy her eyes met his hair, at that moment Kaminari looked up to see if he played well enough for Jirou to praise him. But instead he was met with a better gift, they stared blankly into eachothers eyes seemingly losing track of time, he stared into her iridescent purple eyes that glowed like beautiful amethyst. He felt his heartrate quicken and his insides felt like they were about to fly. On the other side Jirou was matched with gentle golden eyes that gave a keen stare at her, her emotions started to spin-

CREEAAK!!

" Hey guys sorry I was late! Kinda forgot about the meet up- even though I called for it.. Anyways, think of a song or a band name yet? " the door swung open showing a pink girl with a laptop in her hands to busy see the two practically about to kiss. They were a red mess before they recollected themselves to prevent Mina from saying anything wierd.

" I haven't thought of a name or a song yet- got any ideas Kyoka? " the boy tilted his head to the left in curiousity.

She hadn't thought of anything specific but had a few in mind,
" I got a few.. The Trebles, Counter Melody, or Catch a Star. "
The three slightly cringed at the names, their was no clear name they wanted,
" Do we even need a name? We're not even a band we are a duo. "

" Technically you dont have to put a band name but its reccomended, should I just label you down as Kaminari and Jirou? Or hear me out! Kamijirou! Or! Or! Kyenki! "

" Are these just your ship names? " Jirou gave Mina a glare.

" maybe. " Mina mumbled as she diverted her eyes.

" Kyenki doesn't sound that bad, your thoughts Jirou? " the blonde boy asked,

" Kyenki.. What about De~yuo Kyenki? I think that will match us better. "

( De~yuo = duo in japanese )

" De~yuo Kyenki.. sounds perfect! You got that Mina? " he glanced at her with a thumbs up.

" Yessir! Alright we got that knocked down. Also one more question what song are you guys going to sing? " although Mina seemed like a generally lazy student, when it came to something she was passionate about she would put all her effort into it.

Kaminari fished his phone out from his pocket, he pulled out a bright yellow IPhone that had a pikachu sticker on the back, he unlocked his phone and chose a song from his playlist.

He paused the video and looked up to see their reactions,

" Yes, No? I'm fine with any song it doesnt have to be this one.. " he trailed off before he was cut off-

" I personally think it sounds great! Especially for you guys, just imagine standing together on stage lights shinning and the sound of thousands cheering! With that as a debut song its gonna land you a spot among fans immediatly! " The pink girl smiled as she expressed her positive feedback.

" I was actually going to reccomend that song too, that's from your playlist right? "

" Yeah! It's been stuck in my head lately, the chorus is catchy and I feel like it matches our style. " Kaminari placed his phone back in is pocket before getting off the bed to the mini music studio Jirou had, he sat on the Ikea spin chair and pulled the instrumental.

The evening only grew louder as they practiced. At 2:00 they decided to take a break, they all walked into the dorm elevator and as the made it to the bottom floor they sepperated to get there own indivisual things. Kaminari grabbed eggs, toast, and cinnamon. He put a pan on the stove and set it to mild, he whisked the eggs till they were bright yellow, then he added cinnamon to add extra flavor, after that he dipped the bread in the bowl with the ingredients then setting it on the hot skillet letting it cook on the pan, the smell of the French Toast fermented throughout the kitchen reaching to the living room and idling space. After the first toast was finished Kaminari gently put the sweet savory French toast on the plate before adding sweet and maple flavored syrup. Jirou was just planning to grab a bag of chips when Kaminari called for Jirou, as she walked closer she smelt the savory smell of the cinnamon and the heavenly scent of syrup that laid on top of it.

" Try some, im making more anyways. " Denki slided a plate with a fork on it.

As Jirou took the fork and cut herself a square of the toast and putting it in her mouth she tasted the soft and sweet texture of the toast followed by the perfect texture of the French toast. Her eyes seemed to close engrossing herself in the flavor explosion. Before he knew it more people gathered to the kitchen,

" Hey Denks make one for me! "

" Kami set me up too! "

" Can I get one too? "

Kaminari looked around at the new crowd of people, then he smiling and raised his spatula,

" Don't worry ladies and gentleman, I shall make everyone some of my electrifying dishes~! "

As Kaminari finished the making dishes for everyone he took a seat next to Jirou who was sitting in a couch in the commons. He noticed she was resting on the side of the couch with earplugs in with her eyes closed, he then took on of the earbuds and placed it in his own ear and also closed hus eyes. She was listening to her playlist and accidently dosed off, she's so adorable-

The Blonde boys head seemed to gently lay on the girls shoulder, the room was empty and the atmosphere was peaceful. The sun neared the horizon and light went from bright to a gently glow, from the music playing softly in one ear to the sound of wind blowing trees from outside the window. Battle of the Bands was nearing and bands were rehearsing and people were singing but who knew one of the biggest threats to the competition was snuggling on a couch.
