I was at 12 Grimmauld Place, not that I'm supposed to be, but I don't bloody care if some death eater busts in here. I'll kill 'em myself. I was in my father's room, looking around, I opened a chest, and saw a journal and a worn leather jacket. I pulled out the jacket, staring at it, then put it on, I gulped then sighed before looking at the journal. I slowly opened it, scanning the first page,
Aiden was born today, he's in my arms as I write this, he's absolutely beautiful. Looks near identical to me already, Abby hates it, but he does have her freckles. James claims Harry and Aiden will be just like us, I believe him, even if they haven't met quite yet. Lily is fretting about Abby, even if she's still highly pregnant herself. I can't wait for the boys to meet, they'll be best mates for sure. Well, Aiden, if you ever read this, I love you far more than you can ever believe. And I know you will do extraordinary things in your life, and I can't wait to help you whenever you need it. I'll always be there for you, my son.
I cried, tears slid down my cheek, then I felt someone apparate behind me. I turned sharp with my wand ready, only to see Remus. I breathed heavily,
I said" Bloody hell, Moony, can't sneak up on someone like that." I wiped my face, breathing out steadily, I gulped.
He said" You should be at the burrow by now, Aiden. Molly was concerned."
" Just had to make a quick stop."
" Ah, Sirius' jacket, he'd like you to have it."
" Do I even want to know what stories this jacket has?" He just gave me his signature smile," Got it."
" And his journal." He picked up the journal," I remember, you were about 3 months old, and you laughed at James and Sirius. He was ecstatic, Harry laughed too, of course. Both of them were jumping up and down, trying to get you two to laugh at them. Even messed about in their animagus forms." I smiled,
" Were they that daft?"
" You'd never believe me."
" He loved me, right?"
" He loved you with everything he had. Millie did too."
" What's to happen now? A war is beginning, I have no father and no mother, and it seems like everything is getting darker."
" You have family, and that's all you need, Aiden. You'll get through this together. Especially you and Harry. You two are the best of your fathers and more. You'll figure it out in time." I hugged him, he hugged me back," Exactly like your father. Sirius was and is so proud of you, Aiden Black. He always wanted to know more about you, Millie and I would answer what we could."
" Thanks, Moony."
" You're very welcome, Padfoot Jr."
