[No one P.O.V]
She heard footsteps, as she lifted up her head......she saw Sanji. She squealed in fright, and before she try to run away, Sanji grabbed her hands firmly yet gently.
"Sky, why are you hiding?" he asked, a worried look crossed his face.
"Go away!" She frowned, wiping her tears away.
He looked down, "Why are you doing this? You know we care about you, you can't just run away like that. It happened to Nami and Robin too, and if Luffy decides that you are part of his crew, he will not change his mind."
"You know how stubborn he is," he smiled sadly.
Sky sniffed,"Go away please." He placed his hand on her hands, so gently that it shocked her. Her eyes was about to give in when an sad expression suddenly appeared on her face.
"Stay away," She said coldly and disappeared.
"SKY!" Sanji shouted, wondering where she disappeared to.
"Please come back......" He muttered, burying his hands in his face, tears falling down his cheeks.
Sanji had fallen in love.
Correction***
He always fall in love.
But is it true love this time?
[Sky P.O.V]
I tried to gasp for air.
Air.
Air, I need you.
Using this technique was energy consuming. I coughed and sat on the floor.
My eyelids became heavy as I slowly closed my eyes......
"Sky, live on...for me..." Lilia spewed out blood as blood trickled down her cheek.
I screamed as if I'm the one who is dying. "LILIA!"
"Lilia! Lilia! You must not die! What will I do without you?" I choked between tears, I feel so trapped, my heart felt so painful that I couldn't breathe.
"Lilia...Lilia..." I muttered, tears streaming down my cheeks continuously.
She smiled, "I love you."
She stopped moving.
She stopped breathing.
Those were her last words.
The very last ones.
I will never hear her voice again.
I will never see her smile again.
I...will never see her ever again......
She left me.
She had left the world......
"LILIA! NOOO!" I shouted so loudly that I almost went deaf.
My eyes snapped opened. I could feel my tears, my sweat. That day, I could never forgot.
No one understood me. How much pain I endured. How many love ones I lost.
No one.
I felt as if I'm alone in this world.
Until......I met the strawhat pirates.
They fought for the weak ones, risked their own lives for their dreams and nakama.
I never believed such people existed.
I felt their love, their warmth, their bonds and all the tough and fun times they went through together.
I could never be one of them.
Never ever.
Not after how many people I killed.
Not after how many mistakes I made.
