(Julian's POV)

I talked to some of the guests at my party, as Lenny walked in through the double doors

I looked behind her, to see if Red was following her

But Lenny was alone

Where was Red?

Why wasn't she here...by my side

Or atleast in the same room as me

Why?

Before I could worry any further

I saw Red's long hair

She had a beautiful long white dress, that went over one single shoulder

Her red hair, fell over her shoulders, with a single braid, wrapping around either side of her head

She had red lipstick on, with black eyeliner

She was stunning

Every head in the room, turned towards her

She was everything I needed

Her eyes met mine and my heart stopped

Something bad was about to happen

I could see it in her eyes

(Red's POV)

I walked into the ball room, full of people

My sister was close enough, that I could see her walking infront of me

I heard someone gasp in the distance

I looked up and realized that everyone was staring at me

There were only one pair of eyes, that I particularly cared about and they belong to my mate

His eyes met mine and I couldn't help but smile

For some reason, he frowned

I walked down couple steps and saw two hands reach out to me

Winter and Oliver smiled brightly at me

"You look beautiful" Winter told me

"Thank you" I smiled

I took their arms and walked deeper into the room

Every head was turned towards us as we walked

"Why are they staring?" I asked Oliver

He looked down at me and smiled

"Because you are flawless" he whispered in my ear

I felt chills run down my body

"That's not true" I told him

"Really, because everything about you, screams otherwise" Winter joined in

"I agree" I heard the most soothing voice

I looked up to find my mate smiling down at me

"Happy birthday, Alpha" I smiled, bowing my head

Julian chuckled and thanked me

Behind Julian, Karen showed up, smiling stiffly

"Wow, you look beautiful" she told me, looking down at my white dress

I bowed my head and thanked her

The silence between us felt thick and awkward

I wish I could say that I resented Karen, for ordering me to leave, but I didn't
