And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
Romans 5:3
Comment:
How many of us question God when we are in the midst of a trial or tribulation? How many of us wonder why it had to be us?
But Paul is telling us here that we should take glory in tribulations knowing that they bring us patience. Our tribulations and trials are not meant to harm us or to bring us bad will but rather to make us more like God. That is the entire aim of trials and tribulations, to make us more like God. And did not God himself say that he would never give us more than we can handle?
So brothers and sisters, always remember that our trials and tribulations are to make us more like God.
