Dear Mr. Know-it-all,
Guess you didn't know it all after all
If you had know.
Would you have thrown those words at me
And would you have flung those whispers
And those sharp phrases that caused
These red rimmed lines upon my skin
And if you had known
Would you have watched me as closely
And as harshly as you always did
And criticized and bashed my every mistake
But you didn't know it all
So I guess until now
You never knew who caused
These red lines upon my skin
And these hard knots of flesh
That show my weakness
