Once upon a time
There was a girl who lost her shoes
And lived with men and spoke to mice
There was a girl who pricked her skin constantly
Who fell asleep
And stayed asleep
There was a girl
Who married the first man who woke her
They didn't call what happened magic
They didn't let her be happy
They called it good luck
And she was just a girl
Not a princess
Because life isn't a fairytale
