Marinette's  POV

 I  did not explode.

I knew then it was not a complete disaster.

 I  was relieved.

It started to drift high into the sky.

I  smiled as I waved at those below.

I  saw Kim pass out, and Alya looked startled.

I felt the diamond-shaped box slow down right before it fell apart.

I stood up and shook the dust off me.  I  shoved a few loose boards to the side.

"You alright, Miss?"  A stranger asked me.

"Yes, I am fine. In fact, I have never been better."

"Do you know where I might find, Adrien Agreste?"

     I waited for an answer.

    I saw him frown.

"His house is right over there."

I ran off in the direction the boy pointed in right away.

I hoped it was the right direction.

I supposed there was only one to find out.

I arrived at the closeby house within a few minutes.

I  rang the doorbell and was greeted by another girl my age.

"How may I help you?" I could tell she was polite.

"Is this the residence of an Adrien Agreste?"

       "Sure, right this way."

I stepped inside and sat on a bench in the hallway.

I  was not sure what to do next as I was surprised to have gotten this far.

What if Adrien no longer wanted anything to do with me?

Perhaps, it was a mistake coming here. I was trapped in the future, so I might as well make the most of it.

I looked up as I heard footsteps approach me.

I smiled whenever I saw him. Then, the smile faded when I realized it was not him.

"You are not Adrien,"  I said with an accusatory tone of voice.

"I am Felix, his cousin. I happen to live here too, and so does Bridgette for the time being."

"Bridgette, but that is impossible she has been missing for years! " I  protested.

"Not anymore. It is a long story, but I suppose you saw her earlier."

I  scowled. I  wanted to see Adrien. Not this Felix person.

      "Hmmpfth," I stated.

Felix walked off.  Fine by me when he was not my type.

"Adrien, where are you?" I whined.

       "You called?"

I  stood up and ran to him.

I threw my arms around him.

"I am so happy to see you!"

      "M-Marinette?"

"Yes, it is me!" I laughed.

       To my relief, he grinned.
