Part sixteen (ep8)

I helped echo and tech gather the gear but echo left to go see wrecker and Omega.

"Everyone meet at the top end of the cruiser in 10mins" Hunter said on the comms

"Copy that" Tech said

"Is that everything we need?" I asked

"Yep, we should leave this medical bay the way is, just in case we ever need to use it again" tech said

We were both thinking of crosshair.

"does your head hurt?" I asked tech

"no not really"

"well I love the new haircut" I laughed, he touched the side of his head.

we gathered the stuff and headed up to the top end of the cruiser, some of the scrapper gild spotted echo, wrecker and omega, but they took care of it.

tech and I made it up to hunter and they were talking about, the haul on board and how much they could make, but I zoned out just looking out over Bracca, it was strange it had a weird connection to the force, I wasn't sure if it was the old cruisers or if there was a Jedi here, I put my hand on the ground to sense it more but if it was a person I think they are hiding, because I lost the connection

"weird" I whispered

"what?" tech asked

"oh nothing I-I just thought I sensed someone, I mean another Jedi but its gone, the connection" I stuttered out still looking out over Bracca, I felt eyes on my back, Hunters eyes, but I just kept looking forward

"here they are" tech said pointing to wrecker, echo and omega walking over to us, I got up and walked up to omega

"you disarm it?" I asked

"uh" she said

"uh? what"

"nothing" she said again

I furrowed my eyebrows "okay weirdo" I joked lightly tapping her arm, I'm guessing that it didn't go to well.

We all headed down to the armoury, I was standing next to echo who was talking to hunter about going with Rex, echo was a very dedicated solider and I honoured that. Omega ran past us waving at Hunter to go help tech. I looked around to see bombs left and right, paradise for wrecker. I walked ahead and decided to look around more see if there were any cool weapons, I felt eyes on me as I walked ahead, there was still this tension between hunter and I, I don't know why but there was,

"Ella the empire is here we need to go" echo yelled and ran back and we all ran to Tech.

"That's crosshair alright" hunter said

"Ella cannot be seen by him" tech said "you need to stay hidden, or the whole empire with be after you" and I nodded in agreement. Tech jammed there signal and we started heading back to the hanger we entered this room with three massive cannons but something didn't feel right

"they're here" I said

"hide quick" Echo yelled and I quickly jumped on top of the cannon before the door opened and the squad was surrounded by clones, I wasn't seen, and I heard talking between hunter and crosshair. before a loud bang went off and I was swung off the cannon and hit the other cannon landing next to tech, I was hidden under some scrap before the coast was clear and we ran out,

we ran to the big ion engine chamber, hunter slide down the side of the chamber and I jumped down next to him, we looked at each other, I gave him a half smile and tech slide down, and he came over to me put his arm around me and pulled me closer kissing me on the side of my forehead and let go, wrecker finally slide down and we walked over to the edge of the engine chamber, hunter quickly pulled tech back as crosshair shot at him.

we were going get out of the engine chamber but the engine started turning on, but we came up with the idea to blow up the edge ofthe chamber, the engine started to turn on but the chamber blew up just in time dropping us to the floor before it crack in half, separating me, tech, echo and wrecker from Hunter and omega,

"hunter where are you we landed on the top side?"

"im with omega, and we have company, meet us back at the hangar" he ordered

we started heading back to the hanger and we were getting close when I got this really bad feeling I kept running until my head started with the stabbing pain and I briefly stopped

"are you okay?" echo asked

"somethings wrong, we need to get back to them now" I said before the feeling became even stronger "NOW!" I yelled struggling to hold myself up.

we got there and I saw hunter lying on the floor and no sight of omega. this is my nightmare.

"HUNTER" I yelled running over to him

"he's been shot in the chest plate" echo said "we need to get him on board" I helped tech grab him and we got him on the ship, we sat in down on the chair and tech started the ships engines, I kneed infront of him and took his helmet off, he looked distressed, angry, guilty, hurt. he put his hand on my shoulder.

"they took omega" he groaned out

"who crosshair?" I asked desperately

"no a bounty hunter" he said "we need to find her"
