adventures with the bad batch

part four, (ep 5)

echo suggested that we go to ordmantel to meet an imformate named Sid, so we went there.

omega got a comm device which she was quite excited about.

we landed in the city and it was quite dirty and gross, we got into the parlour and omega found Sid where she led us into the back room and gave us a mission to rescue a child. we got on the ship and went to the other side of the planet to rescue the child from slave traders.

"I need to leave my lightsabers on the ship, zigarians hate Jedis and they would definitely try and kill me" I said going to put my lightsabers in my bed storage compartment 

"why do they hate Jedis" tech said as I just left the room

"well Jedis always stop them from slave trading and free their slaves"

we  arrived outside the city and we walked over to the ridge to scout out the 

"what are waiting for lets go" omega said excited 

"you get back to the ship" hunter said 

"bu-" 

"that's an order" 

"yes sir" omega said disappointed, I understood why hunter sent omega back to the ship this could be dangerous

we all headed down the city and echo climbed a small building but got knocked down.

a creature came zooming around and whipped wrecker down with its tail, the rest of us started shooting at it before some electrical net was shoot at us and tech, hunter and I were all caught in  and fell over with me landing on hunter but everything went black after that.

we all woke up chained to a fountain in the middle of the city with collars around our necks, I woke up first with hunter waking up not long after.

"urge" I groaned my body was sore,

" you okay?" hunter groaned 

"yeh" I groaned again 

everyone else woke up, and hunter and tech were talking,

"we need to contact omega" hunter said 

"we can't all our gear is over there" I said 

"I don't think we will need a comm to contact her" subtly pointing up to where omega is

we finally retrieved muchi and we squeezed her onto the ship, wrecker and omega stayed with her in the other room but I could tell Hunter didn't want omega right near a massive rancore.

"we better be getting payed a good amount for this" echo said 

"I agree" hunter said 

"how can wrecker and omega stay with that thing, she smells so bad" I said 

"I agree" tech said

"urgh I haven't used my lightsabers in so long" I moaned sitting down

"what are blasters too uncivilized" hunter laughed 

"well using lightsabers is so much easier" I said getting out my lightsaber and hovering it above my hand

we got back to ordmantle and starting walking back. we got back to sids parlour to see Sid waiting outside.

"you two come with me" Sid said pointing at me and hunter. we followed her into her office and she paid us. 

"come back tomorrow for your next mission" Sid said 

"we don't know if we are working for you yet"

"for you benefit I think it is a good idea, dark and broody and miss Jedi" I gasped as I never told her I was a Jedi and it is meant to be a secret

"I- I'm not a Jedi" I stuttered 

"oh I know everything" she laughed "anyways, with a bounty hunter like fennec after you, you must be valuable" she said as hunter and I were leaving. we both looked at each other quickly before turning back around to face Sid "don't worry I'm good with secrets" she said. I got chills from that one line. 

hunter and I walked out her office "I don't trust her" I said 

"neither do I" he said as we both kept walking "and if a Jedi doesn't trust her then that's not saying much" 

"lets keep an eye on her" I said, just as we were walking out the door our hands brushed together and I almost gasped, it was like sparks going off in my hand, we kept walking but we looked at each other quickly before finally returning to the others.
