Draco and I sit together at dinner. Thankfully, he doesn't ask me what I've been up to for the past hour and a half, only asking me normal questions that if anyone overheard could be taken as entirely friendly, such as my favourite subject, my favourite Quidditch team and if I'm looking forward to the Quidditch season starting again.

"I could help if you wanted, I was thinking of trying out anyway." He gives me a cheeky wink as he tucks into his Steak and Ale pie. I giggle and squeeze his hand beneath the table where nobody can see. "Oh no, you're not getting an advantage. You can have the same chance as everybody else." Across from us, Blaise watches us closely. "You guys have been awfully close lately, anything I should know?"

I almost spit out the mouthful of pumpkin juice I've just drank. "What has anything got to do with you?" Honey interjects for me, jabbing Blaise with her elbow. He shrugs his shoulders and nibbles at a piece of bread. "I am her ex-boyfriend, maybe I have an issue with her and my best friend."

Draco glares at Blaise and looks like he's ready to bite his head off, but I squeeze his hand again and reply before Draco can. "Ex-boyfriend, you're my ex-boyfriend Blaise. You don't get an opinion." Draco stops glaring and bellows with laughter. "That's my girl!" he beams at me.

"Anyway, would you care to tell Juliet about that girl you've been talking about non-stop? What's her name, Seraphina Vallestro?" Draco smirks smugly as Blaise's cheeks turn bright red.

I know Seraphina, she's a 6th year Slytherin, I've occasionally seen her with Pansy although I think she finds her annoying. Seraphina is a terribly pretty girl, with long black hair as straight as a pin that reaches 3/4 of the way down her back, she has emerald green eyes and a sharp tongue that she doesn't hesitate to use. Seraphina is what some people would describe as 'femme fatale,' beautiful but dangerous. She's notoriously judgemental and malicious, and has been known to spread awful rumours about those she doesn't like or consider below her.

"Oh, Seraphina, she's..." I look down the table where I can see Seraphina sitting with her friends, laughing at a first year Hufflepuff who's dropped the large pile of books she's holding. I'm about to get up and help the girl before Honey shoots me a glare and Draco holds me down. "What? That girl needs help." Draco shakes his head, "not her. That's Seraphina's sister."

I look back and recognise the similarities. They have the same green eyes and black hair, only Seraphina's sister is slightly chubby whereas her older sister is thin and tall. I feel sorry for the girl, it's obvious that she's used to living in her sisters shadow. I know for a fact that Seraphina's family are pure-blood and prize blood purity above anything else. Seraphina must be the perfect daughter in her parents eyes.

Seraphina glares at her sister as she manages to grab the rest of her books and puts them down on the Hufflepuff table, her cheeks red with embarrassment. "It's not worth it, Persephone is just as bad as her sister." Draco whispers in my ear and I notice Pansy sat at Seraphina's side, glaring in my direction. I push Draco away, "Pansy's looking," I murmur before starting my own dinner.

Draco shrugs. "Let her look, I don't care." He traces circles gently on my palm and I giggle. Blaise rolls his dark eyes. "Before I'm sick, what do you think about Seraphina and I?" Draco rolls his eyes and I cross my arms on the table, looking directly at Blaise. "You want my honest opinion?" I ask. Blaise nods, he's not the type of person to care about what others think, he'll do it anyway. "Truthfully, I think she's a cow and you could do much better."

Draco, Goyle, Crabbe, Honey and Sophia all cackle with laughter. Blaise looks downhearted, sighing and taking a mouthful of mashed potato onto his fork and eating it slowly. "I'm sorry Blaise, but there are plenty of nice girls out there, nicer than her." I move my thumb in the direction of Seraphina and Blaise sighs. "It's true Blaise, in our 2nd year, Seraphina got annoyed at Juliet because she scored higher than her, even though Seraphina was a year above, so she spread a rumour about that Juliet..."
