Maybe it's the way that he looks at me that makes my head spin. The way he calls me "his girl" makes me giddy as if I am falling in love with him all over again.

He takes my hand, raises it to his mouth and kisses it ever so gently. My doe-eyed expression catches him by surprise and he giggles. His eyes glint with need as he wraps me in his arms and rests his chin on my head.

He hums his favorite song as he strokes my head. I grin once he begins to sing softly in my ear. I want to stay here forever.

"I love you," he says. "I always have."

I look up in shock, as that is the first time he ever said those words to me. Quickly, I flash him a smile and slide my right hand up to his cheek. As I stand on my tip-toes, I give him a passionate kiss.

"I love you," I say to him.

Once again, he gives me a smile that makes me weak in my knees. He effortlessly picks me up bridal-style, and I laugh at his awkward expression while picking me up. All at once, he then throws me on our couch and holds me for the rest of the night.

We whisper sweet nothings in one another's ear until we fall asleep together.

Then, I wake up. It's a dream. None of it is real.
