Dear newbies (and when I say newbies I mean rose who are anywhere between first joining band way before marching to those ending you're rookie year),
You know nothing. you may think you know crap about band (and if you're reading this you know more than most) but I promise you will look back on yourself and say "wow that wasn't even the half of it".
Upperclassmen don't like it when you act like you know everything about band until you are at the very least beginning of the marching season right after your rookie year.
There have been times where I do look back at myself and realize how little I knew. I'll probably do it again soon.
Everyone please comment your feelings.
*this doesn't necessarily apply to every band but I'm pretty sure it does if not please have a member of your band in the tenth grade or higher comment otherwise*
