two weeks. is that a lot of time to you? it felt like a lifetime when finn wasn't talking to her, but try four years.
finn spent two weeks pacing around his apartment, staring at her number on that notepad, debating on calling her.
he broke, took a deep breath, and dialed the number into his phone, waiting for a ring.
"hello?"
"hey.."
"finn?"
"yeah.."
"i was worried i put one wrong number and you were talking to some old hag instead of me,"
"nope, just busy, i guess." he wasn't busy, just freaked out.
"oh, well. sorry it's me, not a hag."
"i prefer you."
"so what's up."
"uh, i was thinking we could schedule a flight for one of us."
"well, mr wolfhard. i'm a busy lad."
"did you just call yourself a lad?"
"yeah. instant regret. look, i cant get out of new york for another two months, according to my schedule, so i could check with the airlines and see when you can come up."
"yeah, that sounds good. never been to new york, seems lovely though."
