"Take a look at yourself again..." she says smiling, I then looked at the demon and saw his head roll off and onto the floor
"What?! How?!" the demon exclaimed angrily
"Sixth form, solar heat haze, it may seem that I miss, but I already got a clean cut of you..." she explains as the demon disappears
Present:
Y/N POV
I smiled at the boy.
"Are you okay?" I asked in a caring tone, he nods his head yes, I placed my hand in front of him, "I'm Y/N Rengoku! I'm 14 years old,"
"I'm Tanjiro Kamado! I'm 15 years old!" Tanjiro says shaking my hand with a bright smile, he then asks me "What breathing type are you?"
"Sun breathing, how about you?" I asked and walked along with him
"I'm a water breathing," he says happily, he then stops and smiles at me "Well Rengoku-chan it was nice to meet you! I hope I see you at the end!"
"Same with you Kamado-san!" I said smiling, he then disappears into the forest
7 days later:
I exited the forest and walked back to where I started and where all of the beautiful wisteria flowers were. I breathed in and out and smiled. I saw the remaining people, unfortunately, I don't see the three people I saved, but I saw Tanjiro. I smiled and waved at him, he waved back. The two girls then appeared.
"Congratulations, you have finished the final selection, you are now officially part of the demon slayer corps," they said "Here are your crows,"
A crow then lands on my shoulder.
"I'll name you Akira," I said smiling at my crow
"Now please choose an ore so one of our sword makers could make your own nichirin blade," they said showing a collection of ores. I then walked towards the table and chose one, I was drawn towards it, it was smooth and glassy.
"Thank you," I said bowing at them
"You're very welcome. I wish you the best of luck as a demon slayer," the girl said, I nodded, I then walked over to Tanjiro
"Kamado-san!" I said smiling
"No need for honorifics, Rengoku-chan..." he said smiling
"Then the same goes for you Tanjiro," I said smiling "So what are you planning to do now?"
"Hm? Kill some demons I guess," he says "How about you?"
"Same," I said smiling, I then walked down the mountain and bowed at Tanjiro "I guess this where we go our separate ways,"
"I guess, I hope I'll see you another day Y/N!" he says with a smile and runs off
"Same with me!" I shouted at him in the distance and laughed a bit
2 hours later:
I was back at home, I carried my pride with me to the estate. I then saw my father waiting for me.
"Y/N Rengoku..." he said angrily and slapped me in the face "How dare you to become a demon slayer without my permission?"
I stayed silent.
"You have nothing to say huh?" he then yells at me more, I've lost my confidence and pride...
"Father that's enough!" Kyojuro yelled
"No! She's a girl! Girls are supposed to be good and obedient!" he yells at him, I then opened my mouth
"I-I just thought...that you would be happy and proud of me when I become a demon slayer..." I said smiling gently and hiding my sadness and fear
Muichiro POV
"Y/N Rengoku..." I heard someone slap somebody "How dare you to become a demon slayer without my permission?"
I peeked a bit and saw Y/N and someone that I think is her father. He was yelling at her. She didn't say anything.
"You have nothing to say huh?" he then yells at me more,
"Father that's enough!" Kyojuro yelled
"No! She's a girl! Girls is supposed to be good and obedient!" he yells at him, she then opened her mouth
"I-I just thought...that you would be happy and proud of me when I become a demon slayer..." she said smiling gently
'How can someone smile so gently when she's being yelled at?' I thought to myself
"And why would you think that?" he asks her and slaps her again on her face, I saw some blood trickled down from her face
"Because I want to make sure the Rengoku family is well respected..." she says smiling
"Tch! It doesn't matter if you're a strong fire breather!" he says looking away
"I'm not a fire-breather though. I'm a sun breather," she says smiling, her father's eyes then widened and he walked away
Y/N POV
My father finally then left. Kyojuro then hugs me and cries.
"I'm so so sorry that he's like this!" Kyojuro sobs, Senjuro then came out and brought me a wet towel and some bandages. He wipes the blood off and applies a bandage on my cheek. I rubbed my face, it felt numb.
"Let's go inside and have some tea," I said smiling and assured them that I was okay.
Kyojuro POV
Y/N always seems so happy but I know that she's covering up her sadness and pain behind it. I then grabbed the tea out and poured a cup of green tea for all of us. She sips the warm tea.
"Onii-chan, when do I get my uniform and my blade?" she asks curiously
"Around a week or so," I answered
Y/N POV
"Okay!" I said excitedly
"We should celebrate!" Kyojuro says "I'll invite some of the pillars that are available,"
"Okay! I'll get cooking!" I said happily, I really loved cooking, but Kyojuro shushed me
"Nope! You should have fun! I'll cook tonight!" he said smiling
"I didn't know that Onii-chan can cook?" I whispered to Senjuro
"Me neither..." he whispers back
"Hey! I can hear you!" Kyojuro says angry voice but smiles, you can see a blood vessel about to pop
"Eek-" Senjuro and I say
