the next morning I wake up and go into the kitchen to see Rory and mom drinking coffee and Luke at the stove.

"hey" Rory says.

"morning" I reply.

"I'm making pancakes you want some?" Luke asks.

"Yes please" I answer.

"I'm gonna I go get ready" I add walking into the bathroom.

I brush my teeth and out my hair into a braid.

I walk to my room and put on a black jumpsuit and heels.

I do some natural makeup.

I walk back out to the kitchen and see everyone eating breakfast.

"mm looks good" I say sitting down.

As we eat we talk a bit.

"We have to go to your grandmas house for her party today." Mom says annoyed.

"oh great" I say.

Luke laughs a little bit.

"You know you have to come too?" I
ask him.

His eyes widen and his smile fades.

I finish eating my food grab my purse and start waking outside to my car.

"BROOKE! BROOKE!" Babette calls.

"Oh hey Babette" I greet.

"hey sugar, is Rory here with you?" She asks.

"Yeah she's inside but we are going back to Yale tonight" I reply.

"oh it's so sad how we barely get to have you wonderful girls in town anymore" she says.

"yeah.. well I'm sorry Babette but I actually have to get going, I'm heading out to stars hollow books" I tell her.

"Alright good to see you sugar" she walks back to her house.

I get in my car and drive to the book store.

"hey Brooke" Andrew says as I walk in.

"Hey Andrew" I greet.

I look around for a while and find a book Rory has been wanting so I go over and buy it for her.

Input the book in my car and drive back home.

By the time I get there 12:37.

I walk in and see rory studying in the kitchen.

"hey ror!" I say.

"What's up?" She asks.

I pull the book out form behind my back and smile.

"YOU GOT IT FOR ME!" she squeals and runs over and hugs me.

I hand the book to her and she flips through the pages excitedly.

"Thank you so much!" She exclaims.

"of course Rory" I respond.

"well I'm gonna go study it now!" Rory says running back over to the table and opening her book.

I go into my room and look on my phone for a few hours.

When mom gets home it's about 5:15.

"Okay girls start getting ready for the party Luke will be here soon" mom says rushing upstairs.

"moms in a hurry and grandma is mad at us.. what a great combination" I sigh.

I help Rory out all her books and binders away and get sorted into her bag.

Me and Rory pack a few more things before we get ready for the party.
