Our Relationship Is Complicated Chapter 8

You and Silver pulled away as they gasped a bit.

"I'm so sorry. I'm gonna head to my room." Silver said as he quickly left.

You were surprised by his actions but also felt hurt. You both didn't get to say good night to each other and just went to bed.

Silver laid in bed with a sigh as he stared at the ceiling.

"What's wrong with me? Why do I feel like this? I feel like I shouldn't but I don't know what to do."

Silver closed his eyes and went to sleep.

The next day, you went to check on Silver after what happened yesterday. You opened the door and you were shocked to see his room. It was so... futuristic.

You saw Silver brushing his quills in the floating mirror.

"Silver?"

Silver turned his head and looked at you.

"Oh hey."

"What happened to your room?"

"Oh uh...I thought I changed it up a bit so I used a room camouflage projector to make it look like my room."

"It looks so real."

"Best part, it can make it real."

"Listen, about yesterday..."

"Don't worry about it. Things like that happen sometime."

"It didn't bother you did it?"

"Well...I just don't want you to get your hopes up. We're from different timelines and it'll just make our relationship to complicated. We can still be friends."

"Yeah. But I just realized that when you go home, I can't see you again."

Silver stayed quiet. He hadn't thought about that. He was starting to like this time. It was happier, friendlier. His world was pretty much destroyed by
Iblis.

Silver walked towards you and gave you a hug.

"Well I would like to spend some time with you before I do go home. It's not everyday I get to see a lot of the things you see today."

You hugged him back and said,

"Ok."

Silver pulled away and asked,

"Wanna go swim in the pool?"

"Sure!"

"Alright. I'll meet you there."

"Ok."

You left his room so he can get changed.

He got a call from Blaze and he checked his communicatior

"Hey Silver."

"Hey Blaze."

"How's it going with the portal?"

"Oh...about that, my new friends took me on a little mini vacation for awhile."

"Silver. I don't think you should be messing around. We need you back home. Besides, I don't think you should call them your friends."

"Why not?"

"I'm not hating on anyone. It's just we're from the future and they're not. They won't exist in your timeline so it's impossible to stay friends with them in this situation."

"I know but they are really great and this place has so many interesting inventions."

Blaze have him a blank face when she said,

"Silver, we have a library with history books."

"Which got destroyed in the explosion."

"We have a museum that stores historical items."

"Which also got destroyed in the explosion."

Blaze sighed and said,

"I'm just worried about you Silver."

"I understand that Blaze. I'll be home soon. You don't have to worry about me. I'll be fine."

"I know."

"I'll talk to you later ok?"

"Ok Silver."

"Bye."

Silver hanged up and looked out the window. He saw his friends laughing and having a great time. He sighed softly and stared at the floor.

"Better enjoy this time while I can."
