"I need a horse.", Thor declares, as we stride into a shop, which is filled with the most curious creatures.

"Two horses.", I correct.

"Sorry, we don't sell horses. Just dogs, cats, birds.", the shopkeeper tells us.

"Then give me one of those, large enough to ride.", Thor requests.

"Ooh! Like a phoenix!", I smile proudly.

From behind us, there's a loud beep; we both turn to see Jane, who I'm starting to like less and less every time she's with Thor, in a large vehicle, "You still want a lift?", she asks. So, half an hour later, the three of us trundle along a dirt road in the vehicle, "I've never done anything like this before. Have you ever done anything like this before?", she babbles

"Many times.", Thor says with a smile, "But you're brave to do it."

"I've seen braver.", I say with a blatantly fake smile.

"They just stole my entire life's work. I really don't have anything left to lose.", she shrugs.

"But you're clever.", Thor says, and then already knowing what I'm about to say, he adds, "Far more clever than anyone else in this Realm.

"Realm?", she questions, "Realm?"

"You think us strange?", he asks.

She laughs lightly, "Yeah, I do."

Well, Jane, I think you're a strange, home-wrecking wench but I didn't say that out loud.

"Good strange or bad strange?"

"I'm not quite sure yet.", she smiles. Whilst she's busy staring into his eyes, the vehicle lurches off the road, but she swerves back on. "Sorry.", she glances back at us, "But who are you? Really?"
