My house. It's comforting yet so uncomfortable. Not a single noise. No footsteps. No talking. I can barely hear my own breathing. If it wasn't for my rapid heartbeat I'd think I was deaf.
I stand in front of my mirror. Not looking at my body, but looking at my face. The way my cheekbones carve my face making me look dead. The way my eyelashes aren't even visible. The way my lips are so chapped that Eddie would force chapstick onto my lips.
I stick out my tongue and cross my eyes. Didn't change anything.
"I'd rather spend my Summer locked inside my house, better than being inside your mom." I sigh. The joke didn't change anything.
I release a horrid groan/squeal from my mouth. Nope, didn't change anything.
Am I even that funny if I can't make myself laugh?
