Chapter 43~ fear falls

Chapter 43:

Lauren's pov:

We all walked out to the back yard which had a amazing view of the lake and trees, along with a grill set, a jacuzzi and chair set, and one chair that hung from the gazebo.
" it's so peaceful and beautiful." I said to Jason as we walked hand and hand down the stairs that soon led to rock and dirt.

" I know, I've swam In this lake before, many times. It's actually pretty warm and clean." Jasson said as we walked slowly down the steep hill behind Alex and Mandy who are way ahead of us.

" how? Didn't he just move here?" I asked.
" well yeah but Elliott and Tim didn't move."
" oh--" I got cut off with a scream cause I slipped.
Right when I thought I was going down, I felt two arms around my body pulling me back up to my feet.
" oh my god thank you." I laughed.
" I'll always catch you don't worry." Jason whispered behind me.

" everything okay up there?" Alex called up.
" yeah. Haha we are good!" I yelled back.
Jason laughed and held my hand.
" alright try to go down on your butt and slide, that's how Elliott and I would get down."
" haha okay."

It took us about 2 minutes to get down and walk through the woods to get to the lake.
It was so pretty down here, there was a waterfall that drops into the lake, and the water was really clear, the sun was out and today is just gonna be a good day, I can feel it.

" here come with me." Jason said taking my hand.
He brought me over to the waterfall.
" I'm not jumping." I said looking down as the water hit the body of water rapidly.
" come on I know you want to." Jason said standing at the edge.

" Jason you're gonna get hurt!" I said walking slowly over to him.
" it's a cliff, you'll be fine, have you ever went cliff diving?" Jason asked grinning.
" no, and there's no way I'm doing this." I said crossing my arms.

Jason's pov:

" come here." I walked towards her a bit.
" what?"
" I have a secret to tell you." I whispered.
" what is it?"
" you'll have to get me if you want to know." I smirked and back flipped off the cliff.
As the world spun for me I felt my feet smack against the refreshing water.
I swam under the water for a second to scare Lauren, when I came up I saw her standing on the side of the cliff.

" why didn't you come in?" I asked throwing my hands up.
" I know that trick." She laughed.
It was hard to hear her, but she really needed to come down here it's so pretty.

Off the the side of the waterfall was a cave, the rocks were being sucked in from the ground which made it even more unique.
I haven't been here in forever, and the cave was half as big as it is now.

" Lauren just jump it's okay!" I said swimming around.
" no Jason I'll get hurt!" She said looking over the side.
" If you don't jump I'll come up and take you down with me!" I said treading water.

" no Jason I'll jump!" She said as she backed up.
" I'm waiting." I laughed.
" 1,2" I counted.
" 3!" I heard her yell as she ran and jumped off and did a cannon ball.

I swam over to her so when she got up from the water she would see me.
But I couldn't find her.

"BOO!" She splashed the water from behind me.
" OH MY." I was taken by shock.
" ha I scared you." She said with a Tune in her voice.
" that's not funny." I said as I flipped my hair back.
" I found it hilarious." She said swimming to the rocks to get out.
I got out with her and tried getting water out of my ear.

" alright let's go do it again." I said holding her hand.
" no Jason it's scary!" She said rejected my hand.
" come on. I'll jump down with you, last time." I gave her puppy eyes.
" you kill me." She smiled and gave In.
" yes." I smiled and kissed her cheek.
We walked up the hill and back to the top of the cliff.
