Chapter 2

 [Hailey’s P.O.V.]

I took my old skateboard then went down stairs well, as usual our parents weren’t there and of course Kevin’s on the phone again I bet he’s talking w/ one of his girls again. So I just hurried towards the door. It was still too early so I don’t think I would be riding the bus for now well, the school is just 30 minutes away from our house. While skateboarding I began to think ‘mom and dad is always busy, I bet they even forgot that today’s my birthday’ I snapped out when I bumped into someone or something

“Hey!”

“Oh hey Hayley what’s up?”

I began to look who I bumped into it was Justin one of my friends he’s erm.. buff, brown hair, handsome, perfect smile, very helpful, he’s actually the one of the boys  I could turn up to whenever I have a problem, he’s also the one who taught me how to use the skateboard, and erm.. he also protects me when someone’s  bullying me. Yeah… I know he looks perfect. I finally snapped out when I heard my name being repeated

“Hayley… Hello?”

“Oh sorry.. I’m just spaced out. By the way I gotta go”

He just stood their looking towards me while I skateboard but then I felt my cheeks burning. Damn. I don’t really know what I’m feeling when I’m around him well, he’s been w/ me since we were 5 yrs. old so well, we’ve know each other for a long time. But whenever I’m w/ him I feel my heart pumping like crazy like it wants to get out, then I always feel my cheeks burning, then I just wanna scream I don’t know why but it feels great.

I looked at my watch it’s just 7:15 so I went to the park for awhile ‘coz it feels relaxing whenever I’m alone I could let what I feel out for once w/ out anyone knowing. Well, I know most of you will tell me I should go tell someone erm.. No thanks if I told someone then they might spread it or use it against me ~sigh~ so I just let it out on private places or I just write everything in my laptop ‘coz it makes me feel free. So I just stayed their for a while then I took a look at my watch shoot it’s 7:48 I skated as fast as I can. When I was near the school the bell started to ring shoot I’m late again.

When I got in the school, well, I’m totally hoping that our principal would notice so I’m kind of hoping that I wound get scolded again. But then good thing she’s not around so I hurried to my class when I got their I tried to sneak to my seat w/ out my teacher getting to notice me.

“Ms. Williams so what’s your reason for being late this time?”

“Erm…. I’m sorry Ms. Francisco but I missed the bus this morning” I said w/ a cute smile hoping she would fall for it and she did.

“Fine, since it is your birthday I would let you go, now take your seat Ms. Williams”

They all began murmuring except for my friends but it seemed that Justin was smirking then he began to look to my other friends then they began nodding, like they’re planning something later, so I just looked at Justin curiously.

Ms. Francisco started the prayer then she said “Well, class we all know that today’s Hayley’s birthday I think we should all greet her a Happy Birthday”

“Happy Birthday, Hayley!” everyone said in chorus

“Thank you everyone” I said w/ a sweet smile.

“Ok class let’s start our lesson” Then she began teaching algebra since I don’t want math I just doodled something in my notebook so it’ll look like I’m taking down notes, evil me.

Well, erm… Justin’s actually my seatmate but instead of whispering something to me he just pass down a note:
