how they ask you to be their girlfriend

Elena: 

I woke up in the morning after staying the night and Elena's, I reached over my arm for her but I felt nothing. I slowly turned to see the bed was empty, before I could say anything a smell of bacon wafted into room. I push the hair out of my face and smile, I am so lucky. I sit up and start to make my way towards the kitchen.

Once I reached the kitchen I see she had made maple and bacon waffles 

"smells delicious, thank you so much lovely" I say walking over and wrapping my arms around her waist and planting a kiss on her neck. She lets out a giggle 

"wanted to do something special for my girl" she says and we both raise our heads. Think we were both shocked by what she said 

"my girl?" I say giggling and she wrigglies out my grip. She grabs the plates and heads over to the table to put them down. I hear a sigh before she turns around and says

"I was gonna wait until later and make a bigger deal out of it, and I know we haven't talked about it. But as usual me and my big mouth go and ruin it" she says and I walk over and take her hands

"Lena" I say and she smiles 

"will you be my girlfriend? officially?" she says and I place my hands on her cheeks and pull her in for a big kiss. After about a minute I pull away and says 

"yes, of course" I say kissing her again. 

Bonnie: 

We were both sitting in the garden of my parents house drinking cups of tea, just enjoying the peace and quiet away from mystic falls. My parents had gone out to get some groceries so it was just the two of us. She was looking around listening to the birds and I was staring at her with a smile on my face. She was so beautiful. 

I looked down and my tea and i heard her voice 

"god, being here makes me want to leave mystic falls. It's so peaceful here, there is nothing to worry about" she says and I nod

"sadly we will forever be tied to the supernatural capital of the world" I say jokingly and she lets out a small laugh

"we have each other though" she says reaching for my hand and i take hers 

"forever" I say and she smiles 

"sure about that?" she says jokingly and i nod

"of course" I say letting go of her hand and taking another sip of my tea. She smiles 

"i guess we should make it official then, you know? since we are for forever and all" she says winking and I nod

"guess we should" I say and she turns to me grabbing both of my hands from across the table 

"will you be my girlfriend?" she says and I lift her hands and kiss them on at a time

"yes" I say and we lean closer and kiss each other. We tell my parents as soon as they get back and we spend the rest of the day celebrating. It was wonderful.

Caroline:

My family have gone away for the week so I decided to invite the gang over so we could all enjoy a nice relaxing evening together. I have said there is no supernatural business talk as soon as you enter the premises, just thought we could all enjoy and evening just having fun. When I mentioned this idea Caroline instantly joined in on the festivities and helping me plan, it was nice because it was more time for the two of us to hang out and being able to kiss without a sly comment from Damon.

I was setting out the snacks on the table and I felt some hands slide around my waist and I turn slightly so kiss her head which was resting on my shoulder

"you certainly know how to put out a spread" she says and I shrug my shoulders

"i try" I say before moving around the table just adjusting everything.

"how long do we have until they get here?" she says making her way round the table to me

"um? about half an hour? why?" I say checking my watch and she takes my hand and pulls me towards her and she starts kissing my neck

"thought I could have a bit of quality time with my girlfriend before they arrive" she says and we both stop for a second before she pulls away and we both look at eachother

"did you just?" I say and she looks away

"yeah.. I guess I did" she says looking away and I smile

"well, the answer is yes" I say and she looks up at me smiling 

"oh thank god" she says and I bring her in hugging her.

Katherine:

Katherine and I are currently in London because i had to go for work and i forced her to come with me as I would get separation anxiety from being away from her for too long. 

As a thank you I booked a nice dinner at a restaurant for the two of us, because we never have time back home and I want to show her how much I love and appreciate her. We just ordered a bottle of wine and we are just taking in the atmosphere when I turned to her and I say 

"i want to tell you something and I want to to understand there is no pressure and it's ok if you don't feel the same. I just want to say this as I don't want to hide anything from you" I say and she raises her eyebrows

"you have my attention" she says setting down her glass

"I just wanted to say that I uh I love you" I say and she smiles zooming round putting her hands on my cheeks and kissing me.  When she pulls away she says

"here i was thinking I would be making the big move" she says and I look at her 

"what do you mean?" I say and she says 

"I was going to ask you to be my girlfriend officially, but since we both love eachother I think I have my answer" she says kissing me again "I love you Y/n" she says and I smile back at her.

Rebekah:

We were both lying in her bed in the compound, having a lazy start to the morning. Just enjoying each other's company before we inevitably have to deal with one of Nik's many mishaps. 

She had her head on my chest as I was playing with her hair, we were both watching Friends of the tv when she said 

"I am going to ask you something and just know there is only one correct answer" she says and I laugh

"ok, hit me" I say and she sits up leaning on her elbows

"will you be my girlfriend?" she says and I smile leaning forward and kissing her

"yes, of course" I say and I pull her up hugging her "you're so sweet" i say and she kisses me again. 

We spend the rest of the day snuggling.
