25• The Three Thugs🐐

Once upon a time long ago
A poor Brahmin got a gift goat,
He was as happy as he could
Cross a sea without a boat.

He carried The Goat on his shoulder and
Was going straight towards his place,
But three thugs were planning
To take away the goat in any case.

The first one went to the Brahmin
And said, "Oh dear, Why are you?
Carrying a demon on your shoulders
With it what can you do?"

The Brahmin was confused but ignored
The stupid fellow's words,
And kept walking ahead when he saw
The next one coming forward.

"Oh Brahmin, Why are you
On shoulders carrying a dead calf?"
The Brahmin was almost scared now
But he broke out into a laugh.

Then he went ahead and saw
The third thug approaching him,
"Why are you carrying a tiger
On your shoulders, when you're so slim.

Now he couldn't endure the fear
He screamed and left the goat,
On the road for the thugs
The thugs won by his support.

But we learnt something from them
That at times we should use our wit,
And be vigilant to protect our things
Or we'll end up losing it.
