'Hey kid, you really shouldn't be sitting here in the grass.' I heard a friendly voice say.

I ignored the voice, still thinking and processing everything that happened.

I felt the friendly voice lay a hand on my shoulder. 'Hey kid?' the voice asked, trying to get a look at my face.

I slowly turned my head to him, my traumatized eyes met his, also traumatized eyes. I recognized something in him that I also recognize in myself and strange enough, Erik. His eyes reminded me of Erik.

'Hey kid, are you alright?' he asked with a worried tone in his voice. I shook my head
'Why don't we take a walk?' the friendly voice asked with a smile on his face.
I stood up to sign him that I indeed wanted to go for a walk.

Together we walked through the park. The first few minutes it was silent, comfortable silent. This man made me very comfortable in a way that Charles did too. I got tears in my eyes, being reminded of the memories I had with him, even from before he lost his ability to walk.

'So, kid, that is a pretty outfit you have on, are you going to a party or something?' the friendly man jokingly asked, with a smile on his face.
I, however, still didn't feel any emotion other than sadness and fear. 'No.' I said, knowing that he meant my dark grey x-men suit. I was afraid the man might call me out for responding so dull but instead he just smiled at me, it honestly made my heart warm.

'Did you lose people after the snap?' he proceeded to ask.
I stopped walking for a moment and looked confused at the man. 'Snap?'
The man looked confused back. 'Thanos snapped half of the population away. Sadly, we weren't able to stop him.'

I glanced deep in his eyes, trying to see if he was a mutant. I immediately felt a rush of confidence and strength flow through his body. But I didn't particularly feel an ability he had.
'Who are you?' I asked.

The man smiled. 'Steve Rogers.' He said as he shook my head. 'And what would you like me to call you?'

'Diana, just Diana is good for now.' I said, less emotionless than before.
'Pleasure to meet you, Diana. So, are we talking now?' the man said, the second part sarcastically.

'Mr. Rogers, you have extra ordinary strength and such so, are you a mutant?' I asked out of the blue.
He looked confused at me. 'Mutant? He asked. 'I never heard of such a thing as a mutant.'

'A mutant is a human being that possesses a genetic trait called the X-gene. Very strange that you have never heard about it.'
'You should really visit Doctor Bruce Banner, he knows all about that science stuff.'
'Why don't you take me there?' I asked. 'We can talk on our way there.'

'Well, I am very sorry kid, but I got to go jogging.' Rogers replied.
'We could jog together to Doctor Bruce Banner?' I suggested.

Steve Rogers thought about it for a second. 'Alright.'

Without him noticing I softly touched Steve's arm and I instantly felt his strength rushing through my veins.

We went jogging and let's just say that Steve Rogers was very shocked when I ran besides him the whole way to the big building.
'Who are you? I have almost never seen anymore run as fast as you.' Steve said, looking sad for a millisecond when he said the word 'almost.'
I looked at him, deciding that I couldn't trust him yet, ignoring his question. My theory is that I got stuck in an alternative universe. I have to find a teleporting mutant and go back into time to save everyone.

Steve gave me a look but then stepped into the big building with me following him. It was huge. We walked into the lobby and immediately someone greeted us.
