"I'm sorry what?" i said confused at the fact I only heard about this fight early today . I had no former knowledge on what happened nor did I want to. "I've heard from an outside source that you had stirred up the pot to get these to boys to fight." he looked miserable, as if this was the last thing he wanted to do in his life. He in his early 50's maybe. He had a gray comb over to complete his look. "See, i didn't have anything to do what happened Wednesday, i wasn't even here nor do i know the people that fought." i said defensively, A little bit more assertive then I intended to. "I want to believe you Nate, but see conflict is the last thing I want at my school. I have an strong policy here and I would greatly appreciate if you would stand by it and follow it." I could tell he was as fed up as i was. He wanted to get the conversation over with and I could tell. He paused and looked down as his stack of papers and started looking as if we were wasting time. He lifted his pen and started crossing and scribbling things. I looked around his office trying to collect more information from him. There wasn't really much of anything in there beside pictures of the school, pictures of his daughter, posters, fake plants, a syringe that was confiscated because freshman are dumb, stakes of papers, and a name tag that said "MR. BROWN". I took a deep breath. "I'm sorry sir but I have no idea of what your talking about, but I promise you I had nothing to do with it ."I promise to not to bring up any conflict." Okay yes i am fully aware of how corny and Caucasian I sounded . The last thing I want is to be put into whatever the fuck happened. Let alone not even knowing what the fuck happened. He let out a sigh and tried to push the corner of his lips into a smile . "Okay Nate, I trust you, now don't give me a reason to call you back okay?" he muttered seeming to just want to get me out. "Got it!" I quickly replied as I read the room and picked up my bag and walked out . I put my head down trying not to make eye contact with any lady's at the front desk. By the time he was done and over with it was time to leave . I opened the front doors in the school and proceeded to walk to Jays house.
