The alarm rung, making the sleeping man groan in annoyance, well you can see, it was another basic morning, the alarm ringing, indicating its already time to get up

Sitting up straight, rubbing his eyes, he stretched his hands high up in the air, while his mouth was wide open, he was just yawning, if any of his employees saw him right now, they would deny to believe that it's their own boss

Getting off the bed, he walked towards the bathroom, grabbing his toothbrush, applying the toothpaste, he brushed his teeth

Grabbing his clothes and towel, placing them beside the sink, he stood under the hot shower, relaxing his body, preparing himself for the day ahead, which he knew would be a long one

Checking himself from head to toe one last time, he walked down the stairs to the dining room, where he was met with a cheerful atmosphere unlike him

"Good morning son" an elderly woman, apparently his mom greeted

"Morning" he mumbled back

"Come on, have some breakfast" now an elderly man spoke, his father

Nodding, he took a seat beside his father, who wasn't surprised at his silence, he was like this, the silent type, not from the beginning though

The family was having their breakfast in a comfortable silence, when suddenly his mother cleared her throat, indicating that she is about to speak

"I have this friend of mine coming home today, in the evening, with her daughter..." Her voice trailed off

He almost immediately understood where this was leading to, quickly finishing up the food in his plate he stood up

His mother's eyes followed him walking towards the main door ready to leave

"Arthit" she called

He halted in his steps, turning around, his face blank as ever

"How long will you continue this? Will you never make me a grandmother?" Loona asked

"Not again mom, please" arthit replied, before walking away

Loona sighed, sitting back on the chair, she looked at her husband who smiled at her, a rather reassuring smile

"Its fine honey, he will think about it the day he finds someone worth it, you must understand it isn't easy to move on from what happened to him" aroon explained

Her eyes slightly glistened, as the images of her son breaking down, right in front of everyone flashed in her mind, nodding her head, she returned a faint smile

A loud bang echoed through the house, as everyone rushed towards the origin of the sound, the kitchen

"What are you doing?" A middle aged woman asked, clearly irritated

"Cereal" the boy standing in front replied, a silly grin on his face

"And do you think they can be eaten now?" A middle aged man asked, raising his eyebrow

"Maybe..." The boy whispered, before picking up a cereal from the kitchen slab and putting it in his mouth

"God! What am I to do with you Kongpob?" The woman asked, walking in, snatching the cereal box from his hand

"Just love me, that's enough mom" Kongpob replied chuckling

Suruchi proceeded to hit him on the head but he quickly ran away, hiding behind his father

"When are you planning to grow up son?" Kerkarai asked, laughing

"What do you mean growing? I'm still a kid" kongpob pouted
