Arthit's brain clicked with Kongpob's words, mark had the password as well, arthit trusted him, he gave him the password for emergency cases, was it him?

Looking up at Kongpob, arthit noticed how he, for the first time, looked cold, something that arthit had never expected for Kongpob to look like

Arthit immediately called for mark through the phone attached from his cabin to the reception of his company

Both, arthit and kongpob stood in silence, a rather thick one, that arthit didn't know how and kongpob didn't try to break

"You called for me sir?" Mark's voice was heard

"Yes I did, Mark" arthit replied

Mark walked in, bowing to kongpob, who only nodded in response, mark turned to face arthit

"Did you find something in the cameras?" Arthit asked

"No sir, the recordings are completely missing" mark replied

"Mark, you know I have always trusted you right?" Arthit asked

"Yes sir, I know..." Mark's voice trailed off, not quite understanding where this was leading to

"You still have time, just tell me if its you who has done it" arthit replied

"Sir...I...I didn't do anything" mark said, looking everywhere but at arthit

"Mark, you are the only one who has the password other than me and kongpob, who else could get in there?" Arthit asked

"I...they could have probably hacked through the code.." Mark tried to reason out

"And we lost the recording of that exact time period? Aren't you also the one who handles the CCTV footages?" Arthit asked

"No, I.." Mark was out of excuses

Arthit sighed, in relief? Because they found the culprit or in disappointment? Because another person he trusted broke his trust, he didn't know which emotion was the sigh of

"Why would you do something so disgusting? The company you have been working for since years, that meant nothing to you?" Arthit asked, while Mark's eyes were fixed on the ground

Kongpob looked at arthit, his nerves were strained, his face a little red due to all the yelling and he looked exhausted, kongpob was worried

"Arthit, let's let the police do the other wo.." Kongpob was cut by arthit

"No! I trusted him, I trusted him since the very start, I always included him in all the professional work I did, and what did he give me in return? Stupid stories and excuses?" Arthit yelled yet again

Kongpob flinched for a second at how harsh arthit's voice sounded, but he also noticed the loneliness, the betrayal arthit felt, it was visible in his eyes

"The damn floor! Look up at me mark! Why would you do something like that? Stop staring at the floor, dammit!" Arthit yelled, his face a little more red than before

"I'm sorry sir....I.." Mark's voice trailed off, it was as if he suddenly forgot how to speak

Arthit ran his hands through his hair, trying his best to not use his hands on the man standing in front of him, lifting up the phone, he called Lara, who was at the reception

"Lara, call the police, right now" arthit ordered as he hung up

Mark's eyes were still fixed on the ground, he looked like a statue at the moment

"You love to gaze at the floor too much don't you? I will make sure, that's the only thing you would ever look at!" Arthit yelled

"Arthit, stop yelling, its only going to hurt your throat, you have called the police, they will handle him now, please" Kongpob requested

Arthit turned to look at him, although Kongpob looked worried for him, arthit could still see the hurt clear in his eyes, and he knew, he had to do something, something to make Kongpob believe, that arthit does trust him, truly

Arthit was currently sitting on the terrace of his company, eyes closed, as he let the cold air brush his hair off his face

His ears perked when he heard a few footsteps approaching him, as he softly smiled, knowing who it was

"Kong" arthit called

Kongpob looked at him with his doe eyes, they looked so innocent at the moment, he looked like the cutest puppy arthit had ever seen

Slightly giggling at his thought, arthit patted the space beside him, asking kongpob to sit down with him

Quietly nodding, kongpob sat beside arthit, staring up at the sky as well

"Why is it always me?" Arthit asked, his voice breaking

Kongpob didn't respond, he knew all arthit currently wanted and needed was to vent out his thoughts to someone, and kongpob was more than willing to be that someone

"Why is it that whenever I trust someone, even the slightest trust, they break it into pieces before returning it to me? Why?" Arthit asked, as a few tears rolled down his eyes

This is not what arthit had planned, he never intended on showing his broken side to anyone, but somehow, it felt right, right with the man beside him, it felt right with kongpob

Kongpob put his hand over arthit's shoulder, squeezing it lightly, showing him that he was there, as arthit nodded, smiling at him, understanding what he meant

"You remember you told me how you wanted to know the saddest part of my life, by my own self and not by the internet or anyone else?" Arthit suddenly asked, his voice soft

"Yeah" kongpob replied, confused at the sudden mention of this topic

"Do you want to know it now?" Arthit asked, turning to look him in the eyes

"You don't trust me tho.." Kongpob was cut by arthit

"I do, I trust you, I wish to tell it to you, to prove it to you, that I trust you Kong" arthit whispered

"You trust me enough to let out those memories? The ones you never let out to anyone?" Kongpob asked

"Hmm, because before this very moment, nobody in my life mattered to me, but now, suddenly, you and everything related to you, matters" arthit replied

Staring deep in Kongpob's eyes as he found him staring back in his, with the same deepness
