JJ Pov

"I knew that already, there is a gas stop in a few minutes, can you hang on a little?" I ask her

"Hurry up" she hissed

"I can't go quicker than this" I state

"This is an emergency" she replies

"I think that wanting to go to the bathdroom is not required as an emergency" I tease her

"Dont you dare to mock me Jennifer, im the one carring this baby, who seems to want me to pee every hour" she tells me

"I bet your child is going to love the toilet" i tell her laughing

"Oh yes and im going to love seen you changing the diapers" she comment

"Thats not-

"Park anywhere i dont care" she cuts me ordering as i enter the gas station

"Okay okay" I say as i park the car, she is out of it the second I open my door

I decide to go inside the store to buy something's for the short drive that we still had

As I'm in the cashier I see Emily going back to the car and looking around for me

When she found me her smile widens as she sees me with food

I'm about to pay when I feel her beside me putting a bag of potatoe chips

"Is that supposed to be for me too?" I ask her as we walk back to the car

"Maybe" she replies holding only the bag of chips and entering

"Maybe?" I ask her as I leave the bag in the back and shut the door

"You could do something to win only one" she tells me smirking 

"I don't know, one is very insignificant isn't it?" I tease her as I start the car

"Well I chossed this" she declares as she points out at the bag

"And I paid it" I tell her smiling

"And your point there is?" She asks me not waiting for my answer because she opens the bag and start eating

"That at least I deserve two or three chips" I tell her as she ignores me

"Maybe you should take a nap" I state as it's already 6 am and she has not sleep too long

"Why so you eat my bag of chips?" She jokes as she is already in her last one

"That would be impossible you had already eaten all of it" I tell her as she smirks at my direction

"A nap now, wouldn't be too bad" she declares closing her eyes

"But I tell bad letting you drive all the way there, you also need to sleep" she states

"Don't worry about me, I had made longer drives than this" I tell her, she nods and closes her eyes

While she is already sleep I decided to call the team, to know of they are with a new case or not

'Hey Pen it's me, any new cases?' I ask her when she pick up the phone

'Hi my second fauvoritr blonde and yes, they are just going into the jet, to New Orleans, a bad one apparently' She explains me

'I never really liked New Orleans, glad that I'm stuck here while Emily sleeps' I comment

'What a shame that you didn't get to see that detective again, what was his name?' She inquires as I feel her smirking into the phone

'I don't remenber' I lie as I heard her scoff

'Sure you don't, do you want to know information about the case?' She asks me

'I have some hours to kill so why not' I responds

'They are going to New Orleans, four murderes in two weeks, all male, the cause of death was an old torture method that was used in the IXX century' She explains me

'Okay, so the unsubs is very old or, it obsesionate with the IXX century, how where the victims left?' I inquire as I read about something similar to this once

'All of them were left in bench and marked with some kind of-

'A symbol of peace maybe?' I inquire as I knew whose copy was this

'I don't usually say this but you are correct and being some miles away from here it's extraordinary so give away your powers, how did you knew this detail?' She asks me as she search for something on the computer

'Pen I need you to call Reid' I order her as I knew that he could have made the connection

Right away, just a second, hey guys, JJ is on the other line' Penelope tells them

'Hey JJ how is the road trip?' Morgan snickers

'Great, my copilot is asleep right now, but this is not why I told Garcia to call all of you' I say

'Remember that undercover mission Em and I had to make some years ago" I add remind them

'Oh right, the unsub believed that he lived on a castle and had the victims in jail for commuting a sin or something like that' Rossi replies

'There are some similarities between the killings made on here, I can't say certainly what it is but it's giving me a bad feeling' I admit as I continue driving

'JJ, Matthew Daniels is already in jail' Morgan tells me

' I know but, we never knew who was the helper, the one that planned everything, Daniels was only the one who made the dirty job' I comment as i look at a sleeping Emily for a moment

'We will look into that and JJ, remember that it was not your fault what happend there okay, you couldn't have changed it" Hotch tells me

'But if I had done something she-

'Jennifer breathe, Prentiss is fine, and she came throught all of that with your help, you both healed each other' Rossi reminds me

'Don't let it go over your head kid and enjoy this trip' He says as he hungs up the phone

"Jayje" I heard Emily call me as I continue driving

"Huh?" I ask her as I was not present on the moment

"I heard the call and what happend to me was not your fault-

"But I could have been there, I had to be there to protect you and I failed to do that" I say as flashbacks of that night come into my memory

"Baby, you saved me and that's enough" she tells me as she grabs my free hand
