Khalifa...

It has been a day since our first study session and that girl is seriously handful.

I went into the kitchen only to meet the prettiest woman on Earth.

"Morning Amma" I said kissing my mum's cheek.

"How was your night, did you sleep well?"

"Yes Amma I did" I noticed Amma cooking way too much food today. "What's the occasion today with all the food?".

"We are having some guests today and none of you boys are going out today cause since we moved to back Nigeria, this is the first time she's visiting us" she said.

"Okay Amma, I don't have plans for today"

"Okay. Now allow me to finish cooking this". She said pointing to the pot of kidney sauce.

I met my brothers in the living room downstairs watching Kingsman: the secret service.

"And the king of the house decides to grace us with his presence now" my over dramatic brother Fadeel said.

"Gimme that" I said snatching the bowl of popcorn he's holding.

"When are you even going back to school?" I asked him. He's a final year studying Civil Engineering in Harvard University.

"When I want" he said.

"Amma's friend is coming today, I heard she has a beautiful daughter" he said wiggling his brows at me.

"I thought you have a girlfriend?"

"I'm not referring to myself dumbo, I'm referring to you, when are you going to move on?"

"When I please, now can we drop this matter here?" I said irritatingly.

"Whatever" he said giving the tv his full attention.

Sakeena..

"Naisa hurry up" Mamie shouted from the foot of the stairs.

"Coming" I shouted back wearing my sandals and picking my kimono and phone in one hand.

"What are you wearing?" Mamie said looking at me. I'm only wearing a white peplum blouse with a turtle neck and a navy blue jeans.

"Go and wear a native attire and do not waste my time"

"Fine" I said grumpily. I mean if they don't want me to wear this type of clothes, why do they buy it for me?.

I went back to my room, changed into a blue, green and black ankara A shaped gown with balloon hands, tied my scarf, applied powder, kohl and lip gloss.

Sprayed my oud intense perfume and picked a black Louis Vuitton hand bag.

I dropped all my essentials in the bag: my phone, charger, contact case and grabbed a black veil from it's hanger.

Yes, I wear contacts. When I was seven, I was diagnosed with myopia which is also known as short sightedness. I can't see objects when they are far from me.
