Vanessa's POV
"please tell me that's not for me" I said
"I know right it suits you so well" Leslie says
"Leslie I told you I'm not going to this stupid party tonight"
"oh c'mon please it's one little party c'mon, for me" she begs
"nice try but still a no"
"Vanessa are you blaming this on your anxiety again?"
"what no, I just dont wanna go"
"nes quick c'mon, I bet there is some cute guy there to meet you. Now c'mon please I promise nothing bad will happen" she pleads
"I told you not to call me nes quick again, and if I do want to come I don't have a date or something"
"so? I'm not bringing anyone well except you, so what do you say?" she smirks
I sighed in defeat "ok fine I'll come"
She raises her hand in victory "yes!"
"but I'm still wearing my own clothes"
"ok fine, but I'm gonna be the consultant for your clothes okay?"
"okay deal" I nod
"yay!, ok let's get started" she says pulling me to my room
Its about 8 pm and we were about to leave but Leslie is still admiring herself in the mirror again "okay we get it you look awesome let's go" I said pulling her arm
We decided to walk to the club because I know she was about to get drunk and I'm not sure yet so I went for her idea. We gave our ID's to the guard and he let us in with no problem. We got in and immediately there was loud music among other things of course.
"I'm gonna go get a drink, you do what ever" Leslie shouts through the loud music
I walked around the dance floor and of course there was alot of dancing or something like dancing. I made it through the bar and I saw Leslie already getting hammered with a average looking guy with her
I ordered red wine and I just sat at the bar alone looking pathetic of course, I was about take a sip of my drink when someone knocked into me causing me to spill my drink.
I turn to the person who knocked into me "hey, watch it" I said
"oh I'm so sorry love, didn't mean to knock into you...my friends are just idiots" a very good looking brunette boy said
"it's alright I guess" I muttered
"look um I can make it up to you if you want" he says
"okay?"
"how about I buy you a new drink and we can talk if you want" he says sweetly
I considered in my mind to say no but who know what happens tonight so who cares "sure okay" I smiled
He chuckles and sat down next to me "another for the lady please and a brandy for me" he says to the bartender
"it's actually Vanessa, but nessa is fine" I said
"well nessa I'm Bradley, Brad is fine" he says "so who brought you here?" he asks
I laughed before answering "my best friend Leslie" I said pointing at her across the bar
He laughed as soon as he saw her "wow she seems energetic to be with"
"oh trust me she is" I replied "so how about you who brought you here"
"well actually my friends and I are celebrating right now so we thought we came here"
"wow congratulations on whatever you are celebrating" I said
The bartender came with our drinks "sorry can you bring us the good stuff" I said and Brad looked at me surprised
"wow you really want to forget about something tonight huh" he says
"well I thought I could loosen up just for tonight so why not you know?"
He nods argeeing "you heard the lady the good stuff and keep it coming" he says to the bartender again, then turns to me "so can you tell me what you like to do tonight?" Brad asks
"my ex boyfriend got engaged today and I just woke up pretty happy and then that news come running in to my life and then destroys me. I thought to myself 'when can I get married' I mean I'm in my twenties and I'm freaking single, it just hit me like bricks coming down on me...oh I don't know I guess you don't feel the same because you look like you have a girlfriend "I said taking a shot of alcohol
" oh no I totally feel you I'm single AF too so we're on the same boat really, we'll except with the ex getting engaged but you know same boat"he says and I looked at him surprised "what?"
"nothing your just very nice, very cute and your telling me your single really?"
He laughs "well how about you your beautiful and I think your a very driven person so why don't you have a boyfriend"
"okay I get your point but you know life is just made to make us feel like crap" I said taking another shot with Brad
"God we're pathetic you know that" he says and I agreed
A few hours went by and wea Re completely drunk
"this is insane because I'm drinking with a stranger and I am drunk so how about you and I get out of here and do something crazy" I slurred
"oh hell yes let's go" he grabs my hand but stops "I'm just gonna pay for the drinks and buy a bottle to go" he says and I nodded
We went out to the fresh air "now this is great, I feel so-"
"-free" Brad finishes my sentence
I know that I'm drunk and he's a stranger but he's an attractive guy so I pull him into a drunken kiss,i stopped because I didn't think he would want to kiss me
"I'm so-" he cuts me off by a very hot kiss
The kiss was heated but we stopped it "okay yeah we are getting out of here" he says grabbing my hand
I don't care that I'm making out with a guy at maybe 2 in the morning but who the hell cares, I'm gonna enjoy this tonight
