SHORT TRAGIC STORIES

She waited but I was too late.

I'm 20 and she's 14  

She is my neighbor and we always see each other 

    "Praise!!"  

She shouted as I came out on our house, She ran towards me  

She's so beautiful like a Goddess, she's still young but her beauty her beauty will probably makes you amaze  

As she came in front of me, she smiled widely  

"Ang gwapo mo talaga! Crush back mona ako kasiiiii pleaseee praiseee!!"  

She said with pleading eyes  

Yes she already confessed at me that she's in love with me, she remind me that every day 

    "Ayaw mo parin ba akong I crush back? Kasi sa tingin mo bata parin ako?" She said and her smile suddenly fade,  I like her too a lot but she's still young ilang taon ang gap namin minsan ay napapagkamalan syang kapatid ko kahit mga barkada ko ay lagi akong tinutukso  

"I'll grow up someday you'll see praise so please wait for me okay?"

        As I got done packing my things a loud scream came on the door 

   "PRAISE!"  

She shouted while her tears falling like a rain drop,  I walk towards her 

    "Praise I told you to wait for me! Please don't leave me I'll grow up someday please wait for me praise I love you I really do!"  

And slowly I felt I also shed a tears

I kiss her forehead and wipe her tears 

   "Grace please don't cry, you'll forget me by and by, you'll grow up someday and a man will came for you better than me a lot, thank you and good bye" 

    Then I left 

   I went abroad to work for my mother who's suffering in cancer so I chose to let go grace even it hurts me a lot 

     12 years had passed and my mom survived in cancer 

    In 12 years my mom and I chose to stay in US 

    And now I decided to go back in Philippines  

It's because of the note that gave me a reason to comeback 

   A note where I found on my old bag pack  

It was 12 years ago a note came from grace saying,  

I'll wait for you praise, I'll wait you till 10 years you are my 1st love and true love I'll wait you praise and when that day came you can't say that I am still young cause I will be grown up, A woman that deserves you and to be with you till the end, I love you praise. 

   From: Grace 

        I ran so fast towards grace house 

    My tears fall like raindrop and a memory flashed on my mind 

     A memory full of grace and mine  

And a realization that I am deeply in love with her that I can't live without her  

I can't wait to see her and told her how much I love her even how many years gap we had  

A smile escaped on my lips as I came in front of her door 

    "I'll marry her immediately" I wiped the tears escape on my eyes and let out a heavy sigh after ping the doorbell  

As I saw her my tears started to fall again like I can't control it  

"Praise!" She said with a teary eyes 

I hugged her immediately  

"I love you grace I really do. I'm sorry to making you wait so long please marry me I can't live without you please I love you so much"  

She let me go and she wiped her tears  

While me I didn't bothered to wipe my tears I just let it flow and stared at her beautiful face. 

 She has grown up and she became even more beautiful damn.  

She smiled and spoke that makes my heart broke into pieces  

"Praise please don't cry, you'll forget me by and by, It's been 12 years and I waited you for almost 10 years but I am sorry I married your best friend Nik."
